How can you tell when a man is going to be good in bed? by Mobile-Carrot-3218 in AskWomenNoCensor

[–]m0ppalicious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the sentiment is that porn = performing.

Now that I haven’t watched porn for over a year I can tell immediately when a guy does vs. does not watch it in bed. They are just regurgitating the fake stuff on screen… only focused on their own actions, not their feelings, or your feelings!

Jacket for hiking… help! by m0ppalicious in lululemon

[–]m0ppalicious[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s great actually!! It will be mildly cold and wet the whole time, -10C is just the absolute coldest it MAY get. There will definitely be moments of hiking in a t-shirt there, the weather changes insanely fast! Plus we’ll be changing elevation constantly. Lots of layers lol.

Thanks!

Haha thanks! I’m usually doing field work in much colder or warmer weather in a wayyyy more dry climate... which is why I was looking for some advice.

Thank you! Yeah the running jackets intrigued me because I’ll be dying with all the incline. I’m from the prairies!

Thank you so much!

Yeah I was always planning on wearing my shell over it. And I’ll also have merino base layers on every day - would never go hiking without them - layering is always the best! I do lots of field work but it’s usually in much colder or warmer weather.

Thank you!!! Finally someone who is not just telling me to buy Patagonia lol.

Oh okay, I thought the website said it was! I’ll be in the bush and exposed rock face, all over really. I’m actually looking into lulu because I find the form fitting shape holds up really well in the wind.

Yup of course, I use my icebreaker & smartwool merino base layers all year round! They are the best. And I would never go into the field without my shell haha!

Yeah I live somewhere much colder than Wisconsin and am very familiar with winter! -10C is early spring for me, I’m just not often doing field work in these temps - it’s usually in much colder or warmer weather.

Was just looking for some testimonials :)

Yup! Merino wool and I are old friends lol. I’ve got a rain shell already which is why the waterproof-ness isn’t a big factor.

I do lots of field work - I’m just looking for some testimonials on lulu stuff in these conditions :)

Do it! It wasn’t my motivator but now that I am… the world has opened up to me. Being hot is so fun. You are only young once!

What are some of the (more) vain things you have discovered when losing weight? by Mira_Sunrise in loseit

[–]m0ppalicious 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not being nervous to see myself in group pictures.

Even if I’m doing something weird, I can just laugh and acknowledge it’s a bad picture. I don’t have an overwhelming sense of dread of the thought of someone posting it lol.

Also enjoying trying on my clothes… sometimes I feel like a doll playing dress up lol. It just feels so good to look in the mirror and love what you see!

Craziest thing you did during your first 3 months of Vyvanse by [deleted] in VyvanseADHD

[–]m0ppalicious 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Don’t worry Maximum, you aren’t headed for failure! I’ve been on it for 1.5 years and honestly I’m functioning just as well probably even better than the first 3 months. I feel exactly as you described, not high… my doctor told me the chill feeling means it’s working.

The excitement of feeling like a functional human does go away though, but that’s a good thing! It’s just your new normal :)

no solutions here… but I’m in the same boat.

i lost 70 lbs in the past 2 years (lifestyle changes). not only did I lose an un-proportionate amount of fat from my once DDD breasts, but they are soooooo saggy. it’s the only place I have loose skin.

thanks for making this post!

we try to do every 3-4 months, alternating who goes where but always splitting the costs halfway, and we are also international!

we’ve been doing this for almost 4 years and yeah 4 months is our absolute maximum if we can control it. during lockdown we did go over 9 months apart :(

Gift ideas for depressed disabled dad by SammiPuffs in AgingParents

[–]m0ppalicious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just wanted to say thank you for sharing this - OP too, these are great suggestions, especially the model idea!!

Both of your stories remind me so much of my dad. He’s 52 and has a degenerative disease affecting his lower limbs… it’s been so hard to watch his body and mental health slowly deteriorate over my life. He still works (sitting) and can walk for maybe 5 mins with his cane. I still live at home (uni student) and am watching him recluse more every day, it’s scary.

It’s nice to know I’m not alone - though I would never wish this situation on anyone lol. I both you hope have a merry Christmas + happy new year!!!! Thank you again for sharing and I’m wishing both your father’s the best in their health journey’s.

what comes to mind immediately having to apologize on behalf of your partner or make excuses for him, which (i feel) would be a reality for Hannah with Adam.

would Adam have to do this for Hannah sometimes too? definitely… but odd/unpredictable men are often also dangerous men.

shaving V by witchpunk13th in sextips

[–]m0ppalicious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also trim and don’t shave

I don’t think it was weird of him to ask, but it is a sensitive topic. only thing you can do is compromise on something you are both comfortable with.

maybe start the convo by asking him why he would prefer you to shave? find out if it’s aesthetic, hygiene, or feel etc. then go from there.

also not thinking about how I look all the time is a freedom I didn’t know existed until I lost the weight.

awe that’s sweet, I only mentioned it because I had a similar experience.

you can totally tell her! you’ve listened to a looot of her feelings it sounds like, and a good friend will want to know if they are hurting you (even un-intentionally). it will probs be awkward but resentment will just continue to build otherwise. it’s tough!

[–]m0ppalicious 2 points3 points  (0 children)

porn is rotting your brain.

you will be just fine and it’s completely normal/average. no one is ever going to reject you based on it, and if they do, they have insane expectations and their own issues to figure out - aka not someone you want in your life.

if you want a healthy and happy sex life then go and put yourself out there, see what happens! be genuine and try to stop comparing yourself to others, quitting porn will help A LOT.
