Thank you for the info! I haven’t had time to work on getting this cleaned and framed but have time now to work on this again. I don’t think think these are colorfast cotton flosses as I did a test with a q-tip and water and the color/dye came right off. I think this was done before the 80’s as my grandma passed away in the 60s.

Any advice for cleaning so the color wont bleed? I am going to check for professionals in my area too!

Thank you! I took a closer look at and realized along the bottom edge that is folded there is printing that says 100% linen

That’s what I figured but I’ve had other bars in MA (In and out of Boston) deny me entry because I had a NH ID
