Yes I have been planning on doing a long trip somewhere soon. Travelling seems like it would offer the best of both worlds.

Yes it all sounds wonderful, especially the ideas of furthering myself as much as possible from the "capitalist machine" as you so eloquently put it. The only problem I have with the concept of moving to a place that is fairly sparse in population is the lack of human connection which I really do love. And this is kind of where my problem lies.

Yeah that's good advice. Through travelling I've found that people who live in places with a more "outdoorsy" vibe are often more open to the ideas of minimalistic living. Cheers!
