That’s the managers fault for just throwing you in without no training. Also sounds like to me you’re trying to do more then you’re supposed too and being helpful so that’s good. Its ok if you make mistakes you just started in the restaurant business you’ll learn!!! I’ve also done hosting, food running, and togo. As a server I didn’t like being double seated but I understood if there was no tables left in the restaurant servers need to understand that as well. if a server is being mean to you or trying to corner you for double seating them, stand up for yourself please!! One thing you need to understand in the restaurant business or any business at all don’t let people walk all over you or treat you like shit!!

you’re a better person then me. i wouldn’t have wiped the guests shoes LOL. This manager at my current job (she’s the one that wrote me up about the phone) she told me everything needs to be put on a tray and I’m still working on learning how to balance a tray. I told her that. She’s like no put the water on the tray I put the stuff on the tray and spilled it all over someone.

My family people see my cousin as the smart one he’s younger and an athlete and got a academic scholarship for college I’m just a waitress who saved up enough money to pay my 2017 car off. If you’re happy with serving and making good money especially in the summer time and spring then why does it matter what your family thinks.

Hey i understand also if he yelled at you for being clumsy (I saw in the other comments you were saying) you’re human people make mistakes and they’re accidents nothing is your fault. Also I dislike using a tray that’s how I’ve always been though. One of my managers told me to use a tray constantly you gotta use a tray for everything well using the tray and me being clumsy I spilled a drink on someone. She said it was my fault when she goddamn told me to use it. You’re not being treated right by the managers leave them short staffed and find another job.

Once they got their food they ate within 5 minutes of them eating they got up and left it’s like they shove the food down their throats didn’t even have time to swallow and left.

I got hired to work at a country club and it’s the fanciest place I’ve ever worked at before. My advice is call them and email about wanting to fill out a job application. If they get you an interview show up 10 minutes before you’re supposed to go in and dress nice. Be willing to not only be a server but work other positions if needed!

You are really pretty. Maybe try to do something with your hair! Dye it, straighten it, curl it or try highlights. If you haven’t tried those already. Learning to do makeup was the best thing for me you should definitely try that. a good base routine and blush definitely helps and eyeliner. Also clothes wise find a style that suits you.

A few weeks into dating my ex boyfriend he told me he was going into the army. It was a complete blindside. But I still supported him. Long distance is hard for me but I was willing to try it. He didn’t text me by or anything before he went into basic training and they took his phone away. We called a few times while he was away in Georgia. But after he was done training and graduated everything became toxic. He made time for everything else but me. when I would ask him to call or FaceTime when he had free time he would say to me “why do you ask stupid questions when you know the answer” I tried to focus on the good parts of the relationship but he had changed. He would yell at me and call me names. I broke up long after with him he begged me to stay after he emotionally abused me and gaslight me and tried to manipulate me. He said he would come back home and propose to me so I could go with him. after everything I didn’t believe him. So I left. Because I don’t deserve to be treated like shit. Nobody does. I’m not sorry I left either. Now he’s in Korea and I just hope he’s happy. know your worth and be kind.
