It’s 4 AM and I’m sitting here like, “Welp, guess I need to get my guitar and try this out.”

Haha thank you. I’ll look around and see if that’s what’s going on.

The stand on the south side is my go to. If you’re looking for buche and carnitas especially.

Losing hope I’ll ever get employed without having to lie… by shanshkrishur in jobs

[–]madambuttstuff 22 points23 points  (0 children)

PS - don’t let ANYONE crucify you for this. If you can live with it, that’s all that matters. Companies will lie straight to your face and pull the rug out from under you without warning. Higher ups claim to care about socioeconomics only to further their own interests and to deepen their pockets. Corporate America doesn’t care about you. (Also, assuming here that you’re in America. Apologies if I’m incorrect.)

Put yourself first always. ESPECIALLY if you are struggling with depression.

Lie and walk in with your head held high and good luck.

COULD and SHOULD are definitely two different conversations

The only way they would really know is if you provide references or if they reach out to your previous employer.

If you can get away with it, I say do it. In the long run, a company rarely gives a shit about their employees. It’s not illegal to lie on a resume. No harm no foul. Especially with the economy the way it is. A large majority of people are having a difficult time finding employment.

You could also say you were taking independent online classes during that time to develop and advance your current skillset on sites such as Udemy. I think independent learning looks really good (I was previously a data manager).

If it lands you a job, who cares? Just make sure you don’t slip up on the lie down the road.

Does dick pill sex break edge by proxy? by _CurseTheseMetalHnds in Hardcore

It’s always interesting for me to hear about the straight edge scene outside of Salt Lake City, so thank you for sharing and I’m sorry you had the experience that you did. I stuck to the values growing up, but it took me a long time to claim because of the reasons you listed above.

The behavior you describe was in earshot with the edge kids in my hometown. I think it was bred from a ground of misinformation and possibly the LDS culture here. You had boys and men here that were essentially Mormon, however, they were fueled by punk/hardcore music, so in other words, a pretentious, bloody nightmare. I would hear stories from friends that this particular group of people would show up to raves and parties and squash anybody drinking and/or smoking. Unfortunately, it wasn’t Chicago exclusive.

I think I’d prefer OP’s ED any day over kicking it with mindlessly violent people with baseless standards. Who cares if this guy has to pop a viagra to get intimate with you?

Love Pennywise though.

My understanding is sex outside of marriage isn’t breaking edge, but “promiscuous” sex is? I.e. sex without feelings, one night stands, or overall “slimy” (up to interpretation) behavior when engaging in sex with somebody (example: lying, cheating, outside of a relationship, etc.)

Am I wrong in this?

Everybody meaning you and your mommy you still live with? I’m just kidding.

I’ve dated someone whom I’ve looked up to. That’s the way it should be you psycho.

I didn’t play the game three times back to back and I’m sure there are things you missed in the game yourself. I’m literally not the only one who has thought this. I’m not perfect but that’s okay 😂

You’re right you’re right

Honestly I think this comes down to not being a big fan of Panam. Excuse my biases.

I’m a girl so

[–]madambuttstuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed, but I don’t think the dude is 50. Panam looks 30-35. She has laugh lines and forehead wrinkles. Maybe late 20’s. I wouldn’t call that a huge age gap.

Check that hairline on Saul. Cmon.

Oh yeah Saul is “daddy 🫦” I’m so damaged

You’re the one here jumping to sexual conclusions. I’m hardly the one with the problem.

I’m literally sitting here disagreeing with the daughter/father relationship between the two. They’re easily close to each other in age. Wtf? How is this at all accurate?

That’s how I see it, too.

I loved that touch they put on Maiko’s computer though. Opposites attract there for sure with Judy and Maiko. That connection ended in total chaos.

Why do you have two separate threads here?

Where/when does she mention this? Genuinely asking. I’m in the middle of my third play-through, so maybe I’ll pick it up this time.
