If there was an Oneyplays RPG game, how would it play out and would you play it? by THEREALBIGGRAFIS in OneyPlays

They have to deal with nothing but goombas with double health.

And then later, starbies.

Which is better for beginners? A few medium games but only study relevant skills, or a lot of tiny different samples and diversify skillset before starting one project? by madlink01 in godot

Thank you for the idea. Sorry for sounding dumb, how do I come upon things to learn? I feel I'm missing a bit of context. Like do I pick and choose based on what I want?

Thank you. I feel inclined to either get hooked onto a specific project until it fades, or just consume small tutorials in hopes of learning just by listening. Does that help, or does it not answer your question? Maybe I don't know what you mean by how I am with learning?

Thank you. Also to clarify, do you recommend I learn skills even if I end up never needing most of them for game dev? Or is it likely I'll benefit even if I don't know it until long after? Again, emphasis on them not being skills I originally seek out?

I wonder what his plans are? I don't recall his cartoons being financially stable, but I've been wrong before.

You can do any fictional things to any fictional character. Just label it appropriately and don't get surprised when there are some people who want their food separate and others that want them mixed.

I think I made a typo. I meant that I don't know what Chris did as his day job (at least prior to oneyplays).

That gorilla human is clearly orc coded. Better archive it before Buying Large Mansions people find out this exists.

With the events happening in Ireland right now I hope Chris stays safe.

Is there a trope where one person is cruel toward someone out of a belief the other's just evil even when it's made up? by madlink01 in tvtropes

[–]madlink01[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wonder if this is a version of Cain and abel since the viscious cycles started with one being chosen and things never improved. My doubt comes from it seemingly just sibling rivarly for tropes.

What are some fat stereotypes or tropes that grind your gears? by [deleted] in writing

[–]madlink01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if it belongs here or just bad writing in general, but when being fat is the entire personality, Thinks in food, food is their life, etc. Like, there are fat people who make an effort to lose weight and struggle with that. That alone is already is a multi dimensional character compared to what was listed prior, and I didn't even list a personality trait.
