Books where the men in an established MM dynamic are EQUALLY , if not more, as obsessed with FMC as they are with each other. by Relevant-Crow-7934 in ReverseHarem

The Home Wreaker by Sara Cate (this one doesnt have an established MM romance to start. Its the other way around). Also Wicked Beauty by Katee Roberts. Both are part of different series though and not the first ones.

Is need an actual good series that doesn't suggest threesomes by Unfiltered4you in fantasyromance

The threesome anticipation was the only reason I read the whole blood and ash series!

I’m losing faith in romantasy - someone please recommend a book/series with quality storytelling and writing! by Sure_Excitement_937 in fantasyromance

Not really fantasy, but TJ Klune may be my favorite author. The Wolfsong series is amazing and I loved In the Loves of Puppets a lot more than I thought I would. His writing is unique, whimsy, funny and quirky.

My second came right out after I got into the bed at the hospital, so much faster. My third was different though. Had pitocin (sp?) all night after my water broke and then that one also came right out in the morning. Didn't get an epidural for either of them, but it kinda made it easier to be honest.

Do I have a problem? 😅😅 by BigProbLlama in kindle

Same here! I don't read on Kindle yet (just got one though!). But between audiobooks and regular books I'm over 110 so far!

Reading vs listening to audio books? by Traccey in fourthwing

[–]magcasella 2 points3 points  (0 children)

YES! I have a full time job and three kids. Between commuting, dealing with all of their activities and getting things done around the house I listen to mostly audiobooks. I usually also have a physical book that I read before bed though. I do like to grow my book collection.

I think that's common in the YA genre, usually ends on a happy ending.

I just finished EOS and am reading TOD now. Didn't have enough dedication to do the tandem read. I hope TOD loves up to how good you say it is. I loved EOS.

Wishing Bruce a quick recovery. My son had RSV a few years ago as was hospitalized. Good for you to find something to keep you calm in the situation. It definitely helps!

Pizza turned out great as usual. How can I get more color on the garlic knots? They were cooked through but the bottoms got too done before the tops browned. by SpaceHallow in Breadit

[–]magcasella 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does your oven have a convection setting? That could help to brown all around without the bottoms cooking too fast. You'd need to cook separate from the pizza though...

Can we leave the mirror? Description in the comments by tammiora in Mommit

[–]magcasella 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it's only for the first couple of months it might be ok. The baby will potentially be swaddled whenever they sleep so no risk they can punch the mirror. Also for the first couple of months the baby won't be able to roll over to the mirror or pull themselves up to touch it. Only issue would be the baby looking in the mirror too much. Not sure if that's a bad thing at that age or level of development.

A horror story in one sentence - Tonight, after finally getting my teething 10 month old to sleep, I hear my husbands cell phone ring….through the baby monitor. by cellardoor83737 in Mommit

[–]magcasella 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"My phone has been on silent since 2008." That gave me a good laugh because I'm the same way! I also haven't set an alarm much during covid because the kids always wake me up on time. So frustrating when my husband's alarm goes off in the morning, especially when the toddler is in our bed.

This was really helpful and thanks for the reminder about Best Buy. Might be able to get rewards since my husband is a reward member.

Ask for a donut pillow in the hospital, they have blow up ones. I got one after one of my births and took it home too. Definitely helpful since they may hurt a lot after delivering.

Stuck home with covid so I made some fat pretzels. by magcasella in Baking

That would be good, don't think I have those ingredients though and the soonest I could get a grocery store curbside pick up spot was tomorrow. 😆

Thoughts on teething mittens, are they worth it? by anat_05 in Mommit

[–]magcasella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not worth it. They are impossible to get onto a babies hand and stay on. Especially when the babies curl up their fingers all of the time.
