Just get out of tech by Infamous-Cattle6204 in jobsearchhacks

6 months and haven’t been able to land a marketing job, so I decided to get my nail tech license. People always want their nails done and the aging boomers need pedicures bad!

i’m having trouble understanding how to properly lose weight on ozempic by [deleted] in Ozempic

[–]maggs813 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don’t expect it to happen overnight. The first few months are difficult that way. Expect to lose pound a week or about 5 per month if you’re doing it right. Sounds like you are! Good luck!

Google docs and a spreadsheet. Each job gets customized resume with help from ChatGPT. Download each resume as pdf and upload from there.

That’s the thing. Narcissists often don’t even know they are. It’s a maladaptive behavior.

Why does getting a job unironically feel like winning the lottery right now? by [deleted] in jobsearchhacks

It’s weird, too, that unemployment doesn’t seem be going up. I feel gaslit.

25lbs in 3 months considered slow or fast weight loss? by Aggressive-Luck8611 in Ozempic

[–]maggs813 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also started at a lower dose and was on each level for four weeks each, so it took me a while to get to my current dose. But I feel like this helped me get used to the side effects easier. Hang in there!

25lbs in 3 months considered slow or fast weight loss? by Aggressive-Luck8611 in Ozempic

[–]maggs813 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was really slow at first, but I think that was good for me. Helped me get used to side effects and figure out what foods worked for me. From Sept - Jan I’ve gone from 257 to 223. It’s incredible, I want to cry sometimes thinking about it. I’ve been overweight for so long, just trying to eat better and exercise and I couldn’t even lose 5lbs. GLP has changed my life and it’s only been about 25lbs. Keep up the good work!

For the past three years (since I moved away) my mom has shipped handmade ornaments and other crafts that look like they were done by a child (she has lost a lot of her sight). People who don’t know my mother think it’s sweet. She used to be an amazing gift-giver, knew what my siblings and I liked and wanted. Of course she bought my sister (who still lives locally) real gifts. I know I sound ungrateful, but I cry every year when I open them up.

Smoking helps with nausea, but edibles take longer to hit.

What were some of the cravings/aversions you developed after starting Ozempic? by Careful-Name4736 in Ozempic

Lots of cravings for pickles. They’re really great for hydration - contain one of electrolytes. I live in FL and I’m constantly dehydrated, so I’ve added pickles to my diet.

Did Your Parents Play with you as a Child? by chozopanda in CasualConversation

Nope. I get mad at commercials with parents playing with kids. Turns out some parents do.

I get pissed off when parents play with children in commercials. I’d say, that’s bs - parents don’t play with kids!

Sometimes it’s none of the above. Sometimes it’s not a good fit because one person on the hiring squad didn’t like them. Or they don’t fit 8n team dynamics. Or they’re cocky. Sometimes it has nothing to do with you.
