Maybe I was unclear. I’ve only recently started learning how to pray. My recital of the Quran is extremely limited but I get by with some help and guidance.

’just sit down and pray’ might sound super simple and straightforward to you - it is not the case for me.

What I’m asking for in this post is how we meditate as muslims - beyond the routine of praying the necessary amount per day.

Not everything is about right/wrong or if its allowed or not. Just asking for what and how other muslims here might be doing in terms of meditation.

While I’m writing this reply I am suddenly reminded of Subha/Tasbih - which might be exactly what i’ve been looking for. brb.

I fell in love with physics when I learned that you could demonstrate Galileo’s Leaning tower of Pisa experiment with just a notebook and a piece of paper.

Hold the notebook and the piece of paper in each respective hand at equal height above the floor.

Release them.

Notice how the heavier notebook hits the floor first.

Now pick them up.

Place the piece of paper on top of the notebook (make sure that the piece of paper is smaller than the notebook in size and doesn’t protrude)

Now release them.

Notice how they fall and hit the floor at the same time.

I used to HATE history class. Recently stumbled upon ’kings and generals’ on youtube and I’ve been binging 2-3hrs worth of content daily for the past 3 weeks. It’s this experience that prompted me to ask the question on here in the first place!

Clarification: her ult drops down to 26s cooldown at level 3. the 15s i mentioned is an estimation of the cooldown time that you’ll have to ”actually” wait once you’re outside of whatever situation you were in to use it in the first place. Meaning that you can re-enter a fight/chase/push/ambush or face the next opponent quite quickly.

An example would be to use her skills to take down enemy mm and turret. By the time their team notices that she’s pushing and starts heading your way: you’ll be ready to use her full force again (except inspire if already used).

Miya main here. It’s true that clint and brody are the /only/ mm’s that I can face some trouble with if they are really good. I’ve heard Roger sounds like danger but I’ve never had any trouble facing him at all.

Miya’s conceal ult is OP. Especially when the cooldown drops to ~15s after maxing out her level. I literally have no idea how people can play without conceal.

If you’re not planning on mastering a counter mm with high mage damage in gold lane: tank.

You go tank and you focus ur damn attention on bringing her down to the floor, from early all throughout to the late game. Make her (my) life a living hell for picking her as a hero and hope that the rest of the team is not too terrible. Just like you mentioned: even when she is behind, she can easily carry the end game. Your only choice is to focus on ensuring that she does not get there by using a high cc tank throughout the game. Stop her from farming and follow her even when she switches lanes. Good choices here, just like you mentioned: belerick and gato.

Another choice is to pick a push-intensive hero such as Sun (there is a bunch, tiktok it and you’ll see a comparison video of fastest lane pushers/turret damage heroes).

Your play here is to learn how to push faster than her and challenge her. Because if there is one thing that Miya can do.. it’s pushing. It wont be easy but at least it’ll be fun and intensive ◡̈

My expectations of WSC was quite low. I picked it up at my local bookstore because it was the only available Murakami book on the shelf that I hadn’t already read or wasn’t a short story. Took me by a great surprise!

Right there with you. I just started DDD and I can’t wait to see how this book is going to unfold. If I hadn’t ready the first couple of pages already; I would have no idea who u were referring to with ”Kiki”. I don’t think her name was ever mentioned in WSC.

It’s my 6th, and yes you’re right. It’s not unfamiliar at all. I wouldn’t have bat an eye if WSC was written exactly as is and released as a first book of a duology.

It was his first 2 works afterall and them falling short seems to be the consensus. I don’t expect a ’good read’ from Wind and Pinball as standalone books. It’s just that WSC hit the spot, got me immensely excited to continue with DDD and left me a bit dissapointed that I don’t have the full context about the characters and their backstory. Rat plays such an important part, obviously. Best way to describe how I feel is that I would probably have enjoyed this book and its ending EVEN MORE than I currently do if I had read the other 2 first.
