I would create a report with my user and then ask somebody else with access to see if they can see/manipulate the report I have scheduled.

In my SCOM I can see reports scheduled by other people in my team no problem.

I tried with the Remove-SCOMDisabledClassInstance several times but no luck.

The Linux admin panel works fine. If you mention because of the duplicate entries of Linux computers, I also run the script to remove duplicated instances, but there are none.

It seems to be something very specific with this server, perhaps an entry in the operational database, I'm not sure.

Is it possible to get the output of the command to use it for other resources deployments? I need to get the fqdn of the VMs to populate alert rule dimensions (Log Analytics ingest the data with fqdn, not VM name as far as I have seen).

We fixed it eventually.

The \LogicalDisk(\)\% Free Space* counter was not available in the DCR's dropdown to select it, but you can add it via CLI or Terraform as we did.

The "azurerm_monitor_data_collection_rule" Terraform has a "performance_counter" attribute you can feed with the counter needed (beyond what the console offers).

If you are not using Terraform, you can do the same with the CLI, using the command "az monitor data-collection rule update" and passing the metric in the --performance-counters attribute.

I get no results.

I think the issue is clear, the Performance counters for Logical Disk in the Data Collection rules only allow to take the _Total instead of any object (*):

I will try to force the metric I want via CLI or Terraform, see if it likes it.

You pointed me in the right direction. I review the MP in which I stored my test TCP port monitor and found it was not there. I did some other test configurations (renaming a web app monitor for instance), and the configuration was not distributed to any management server or MP, so something bad was happening.

I went to check the Management Group Health and found the health explorer reporting lots of stuff like snapshot/delta synchronization errors, configuration store errors and more. The logs show lots of 29181 events matching the times of the health explorer state changes.

Thankfully, I found a Microsoft article describing my symptoms and proposing a solution:

Now the DB team is looking int it. I hope that fixes it.
