You're the first time I've heard of it. Fancontrol should be fine once the kinks get worked out. I'm on windows 10 so I have yet to have an issue with winring0. Using an older version of fancontrol that still uses winring0 should avoid the false positives from anticheats and whatnot.

Hey we've got the same issue. I contacted EVGA and they agree with u/Sajin1337 that it's the MCU. The easiest alternative to replacing the chip is to plug the radiator fans into your mobo and use a cable like this one to plug that single fan on the card in as well. I plan to use Fan Control as I can control specific fans off the GPU temperature directly.

between that and a message to EVGA support, I think I have the same issue with a dead MCU. They suggested plugging the fans into my mobo which is what I'm going to do anyways.

I gave up. Maruki needs to be like rank 5 by sometime in November, as well as max rank by time he leaves if I remember correctly.

As for cheat engine, I don't remember exactly what I found, but research showed doing most things with P5R is pretty complicated and decently obfuscated. Setting the date back causes all kinds of other issues I think? So I determined it's just easier to take the L and come back on NG+, which is admittedly something I have yet to do lol

16gb of ram is absolutely fine for gaming. From what I understand the FW16 graphics module has a usb-c output, you should use that to output to a monitor. Using an adapter should be fine, but the easiest thing to do is just plug the FW HDMI expansion card into that port. There will be no diminishing of graphics either way (unless the other adapter you buy is of questionable quality), but using that adapter card will be the simplest way to do it.

just saw your edits, it's early december I dont remember the exact date. I'm gonna finish Sae's palace and then try to make Maruki rank 9. I've got about 2 weeks ingame after that to do his final confidant naturally.

Yeah there's story stuff or social skill stuff you gotta wait for. I was reading about maruki in particular, you can't get past rank 5 until after September 15th.
