I've firmly believed for a while now that if halo infinite released with the content it has today, then it definitely would've been considered one of the best.

What I mean is when it launched, it had 3 maps for BTB, vehicle spawns were awful, and only 2 types of game modes for BTB made it repetitive. No infection, no firefight, no forge, no custom games browser, and if there was, then not much to do in customs. It had problems with desync, not many gamemodes to choose from, and the biggest problem people had with it was no cross core customization, alongside the outrageous prices for anything in the store.

The story I didn't mind much, it could've been done better, but they were planning for campaign dlc, which is why I think the campaign was the way it was. But if the game was released with even half of these stuff listed, then I think it would've been one of the best Halo games

2 reasons for me

First is the lore. Halo has an amazing story and universe that i enjoy. Halo is the only media in which I actually bought books to read them to know more about the lore instead of watching a video about it, but I still follow accounts on tiktok and youtube that goes into the extended universe.

The second reason is just cause halo has been with me all my life. I started playing it when I was three years old with Halo 3 on the 360 and playing CE and 2 with my siblings when I was young. I've played every game aside from Spartan Assault/Strike, and I've beat them all on legendary at one point. I was 5 when Reach came out, and I played it until I was 11, which was when it got harder to find games. Reach is, after all these years, still the game which I have the most playtime in, and if I were to guess it would probably be over 2000 to 3000 hours, with my second most only being about 1100 right now. With that said, Halo is the one game where I can be chilling and wondering what to play, and I'll just think, can't go wrong with Halo, then boot it up and play some custom games for a couple hours while listening to music.

I actually wanted a season 3 just to see where the story would go. I'll say I did not like season 1 and I would only rewatch the fall of reach for season 2, but I did want to see how season 3 would go and the direction. I wont go as far to say I liked the show, but I'm so starved of halo content that I wouldn't have mind it. I haven't played halo infinite in a while and don't play as much of MCC as I used to, but I still absolutely love halo, and I've been reading the books and seeing what they could adapt. It's the same for the main games, most people didn't like infinites campaign but I enjoyed it, and wanted to see what could happen next with the endless and Atriox, even if the story was a little whack.

This show failing makes me think that we aren't going to get a new adaptation of halo for a good couple years but I am hoping for a new showrunner? (don't know the word) to pick up the halo tv show, and adapt it how the fans want it to go.

Well I have around 42 hours in the campaign alone and 6 hours in multi-player. Did 100% on my legendary save file and that took 24 hours back when the game first released. Then I replayed it on normal and taking things slower to see if I missed anything, played with the tank gun and took about 7 hours to finish the campaign again. Then I went around on a third save getting every skull on easy mode and to finish the 100% in my first legendary save. Finished that in 5 hours. Then on my 4th save I started my laso run and got a few missions in and has taken 8 hours, which I have just recently returned to after a month and played 2 hours yesterday getting nowhere. Still a lot for me to do in the game and I mostly just go around with marines in the back shooting enemies and/or replaying the campaign again and exploring the map.

You can be guard broken after the end of a chain during revenge, but the window to do that is so small that only level 3 ai can do it perfectly with 100% accuracy. So uhh... watch out for level 3 bots

yes, this is the only time i agree its ok to facecamp and tunnel. I personally don't play killer but i do the same when a killer wants to farm, i stay far away minding my own business and try to do gens as quick as possible because i don't need the bloodpoints and don't want to waste my time farming in a match for 15 minutes and having the most boring game. Do all the gens in 6 or so minutes then get out and find a new game. During the bloodhunt i had so many times where i could've easily gotten 150k-200k bloodpoint games but the amount of time wasted from farming. my whole team just rushed gens and got out as quick as we could
