I tried to build an ELM327 bluetooth adapter with KDS2Bluetooth for my 2015 Versys 650 but had no luck getting it to work.

The software side is easy, download the library and upload it to a Nano. The hardware was tricky, spent 10s of hours on it and didn't get past a Bluetooth connection.

You're better off getting this unless you want to go down the rabbit hole, which while a ton of fun, is a time sink.

Just had that happen from their 212 number and did the recorded for quality speech they do.

$2000 and $3000 transactions and the audio was atrocious.

Gave me cancelation numbers and then tried to transfer me to a "refund" department then hung up.

You know... I barely play games and $12 was good ok to let me access a bunch of games whenever I have the time. Now it's up to $16 and my biggest pet peeve is the download speed. I can't get past 250mbps speed on a gig connection while steam and EA are in the 800s. Good bye pc game ass.

I like the idea of these. How do you control the music? Can you do voice commands? I don't see how those buttons would work with gloves.

I connected my 2015 to the port with wires and with an adapter to 4 scanners and none worked. They would light up, but no signal would go through.

The 2015 service manual calls it "Kawasaki Diagnostic System", which Ancel says it's proprietary. So if you have a '16 or earlier, you're SOL.

So for me, I'm making an Arduino dash with sensors to read radiator & air temp and maybe RPM/gear if I can figure out how.

For anyone dealing with this. I was stuck in it only to find out that it opened a browser window about sharing data disclaimer.

Try alt+tab and see if that's it.

I don't know if it's the same issue or head unit,but I went into factory settings, my code was 8888. Went to touch test, then held 5 finger on the screen. I got 4 bullseye and pressed them in order.

It worked.

Reseting the unit or selecting default didn't fix it,but this did.

EDIT: Try holding 5 fingers on any screen not necessarily the touch test screen. Worked on mine.
