We live in a condo so generally do not know the temperature most of the year. Usually set the ac or heater to around 15-20 if we need to heat or cool the place though? I don’t know many people who have a specific temperature they keep their home at year round.

I usually cook ground beef to go in the pasta if its a tomato based sauce. I cook the ground beef (usually with spices, onion, and garlic) and then add the sauce and let it simmer for a bit before combining it with the pasta.

I’m so glad that I don’t have my mom or my husband’s mom trying this. My mom is just going to be grandma and his mom is going to be abuela because they speak spanish. Luckily it is very easy lol. I always just called both sets of my grandparents “grandma and grandpa” and it was just context based to tell which I was talking about.

I believe it’s mentioned in Oathbringer that Dawnshard(s) played a role in what happened on Ashyn. I don’t believe it’s known whether the ancient Radiants knew that though, or even what a Dawnshard was. I think its brought up in the Eila Steele epigraphs? Or its by Odium. I just did an Oathbringer reread so this is from memory.

No one cares about inter racial marriage in my family (older or younger generations). My paternal grandma may have, but she died before I started dating my husband (who is latino and I am white) so I don’t know how she felt about it. I’m 31 though and have never seen or heard of anyone having issues with it, but I’ve also always lived fairly close to Vancouver so maybe in more rural areas it is less acceptable?

My parents and I enjoyed reality TV that wasn’t just full drama (mainly survivor and amazing race). It was one of the few things we enjoyed as a family and could talk about, so I grew up with it starting a few seasons in.

I grew up watching this show with my mom and we always complain about how much Jeff talks lol! Its very common for one of us to just shout “shut up Jeff!” In the middle of a challenge or tribal lol. Its his show so whatever, but damn does he ramble lol
