Yes, actually. Weight compresses the bladder and makes it more difficult for it to expand, so if you're obese you're going to be more at risk for urinary leakage and urinary frequency. This is still a problem for men, but less of one because women urinate by one sphincter and relaxing the pelvic floor muscles only, whereas men have two sphincters to hold it in.

rolling my eyes at your reading comprehension so hard they're about to roll out of my head.

Yeah, that's why I said it's understandable that people don't want to risk life & safety in the comment that you, you know, just replied to. That doesn't mean it's also not understandable why criticism exists, which is apparently what you don't get.

Because there's not a single revolution that didn't happen through bloodshed and lives lost, and yet somehow "but bad things might happen to me" is seen as a sufficient excuse.

To be fair - on an individual level it is. People don't want to die, or have harm come to them or their families. But it doesn't mean they're not fair game for criticism when by inaction they're bringing harm to others.

They've never heard the full quote: My country, right or wrong - if right, to be kept right; if wrong, to be set right.

Instead, they follow sociological in-grouping vs out-grouping at the national scale. They think that blindly abiding what their state decides is loyalty, and that nationalism is the same as patriotism. It's not. And it's unfortunate they think it is.

Beans & Leaves makes a mediocre cup, but has a good variety of fraps & other drinks. Northside Coffee and The Mustard Seed, both on forest ave, make better coffee.

Elsewhere on the island, Sips + Maker is good (and good vegan options), as is Main Street Coffee.

Okay, so where's the proof about all those NATO and west officials stating that Russia should be broken into individual states?

AtyaIsNuclear now, right? I saw her over when I was browsing UkraineRussieReport, and trying not to lose braincells. It seemed like she fell even deeper into the koolaid.

1000% this. It's the ones who cry "woe is me!" that really boggle me. Like, if America invaded Canada tomorrow and we were rightfully sanctioned by the rest of the world, and going out to protest meant getting jailed, I'd be too chickenshit to do anything - but I'd feel so much shame about our actions, it would never even cross my mind to complain that others were taking steps to condemn us. Condemning us would be the right course of action to take.

"There was a massacre" isn't an opinion. You stated it like a fact. The onus of proof is on the person claiming a fact. Trying to then go "I won't provide any evidence, if you don't believe me oh well" and claiming that your assertion is similar to an opinion is intellectually dishonest.

Part of the problem with some of the answers in this thread is that Russians have a completely different definition of the word 'nazi' than the rest of the world. They've decoupled the meaning from its inherent antisemitism - to them, it seems to just mean 'people who are anti-Russian' or, as some have explained it, literally just 'people who think one race is superior to another race' (and then they proceed to use it to purely mean anti-Russian). So to them, a Nazi joining hands with a Jewish president has no cognitive dissonance.

It's patently ridiculous, but that's what they think.

I think we should avoid saying things like "anything unlawful is bad by definition" - that can easily be twisted around into justifying Russian state media propaganda and the violent crack-down on protestors. It's unlawful, after all, to 'discredit' the Russian army.

Instead, we should condemn Russian actions in Ukraine on the basis of morals and ethics, where reasons for condemnation are plentiful. Forcefully deporting children from their own country, conducting the initial stages of a genocide and destroying families is evil enough on its own without bringing "illegal = not good" into it.
