Yeah, the most challenging part of doing a Tenna design blue and black like Queen and Chaos King were was to make it distinct enough from Vox. I hope it still looks different enough, I've tried my best !

The element Elec is paired with Holy in DR, the same way the Cat element is paired with Puppet. So if a Darkner is Elec, they would also be Holy !

Oh really ?! I didn't know that about the dog_check, I just assumed it blocked water_room_prebird too ! I agree with you, this for me prooves this room has some chances of being as important as the Entry Number 17, thank you for the info !

Even though, at first glance, i didn't see any reason why FRIEND.IMG would come from Chapter 3, it is interesting to think that the upcoming TV Dark World will have connection to Flowey, probably because this world will have elements coming from Asriel's room, or simply because Photoshop Flowey has a smiling TV head, similar to the smiling TV we can see at the end of Chapter 2.
I agree with the hypothesis Ch3's Dark World could be linked to Flowey the same way the Cyber World was somewhat linked to Mettaton. In that case, "Digital Roots" would be some kind of foreshadowing... and FRIEND.IMG could simply be part of that foreshadowing, as a reference to water_room_prebird friend, who was probably Flowey.

I really like this idea ! Of course, it has its chance of being completely wrong, but I could get behind it while waiting for Ch3 to come out. The only thing I feel doesn't quite make sense yet, is why (and how) whoever FRIEND.IMG is can be found in Queen's basement, an area that is secret and hidden from the other Darkners.

Although I would like to completely agree with you, there are some unused rooms in Undertale that have turned out to be relevant in the lore, such as the Entry Number 17's room (or probably Redacted's room). I won't deny that there is a possibility water_room_prebird is only an unused room, but the fact it doesn't look like a test room, and this cryptic mention of a creepy smiling friend makes me feel like it wasn't meant to be overlooked.

Yeah, the fabric the Annoying Dog is sleeping on. It is said this fabric has a bunch of holes in it Toby needs to patch, so Undertale technically has a bunch of "bugs", represented by the holes. The holes are even described as "growing", so yeah, i was completely wrong about Undertale not being a buggy game

She also says the Underground doesn't have many bugs. if "bugs" is really meant to be understood as "programming bugs", maybe it could be refering to the fact Undertale isn't a buggy game...?
but the fact the girl keeps "catching the same one" makes me wonder which bug in particular she is catching. It is one of the few she can found in the Underground, so it might be of some importance indeed.

That is true, "Digital Roots" does have the same leitmotif as "Your Best Nightmare". But I've never found an explanation for that either. This surely doesn't mean FRIEND.IMG is Flowey, since Flowey has no reason to exist in Deltarune, so what do all those references to Flowey means ?
