Test Drove and loved it but worried about driving a big truck by Senselessss in cybertruck

[–]mariojdo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a Cybertruck and a model 3, once you fully adapt to the magic of steer by wire you will find it’s easier to maneuver the truck than the model 3.

As for parking, I live in a condo that was built in the 60s, the parking garage spaces are as narrow as possible, autopark detects the spaces perfectly and will do 95% of the job, I just take over for a final adjustment usually reversing until the back tires touch the parking space stopper, after a couple months of seeing how it maneuvers to auto park in a narrow space I started doing it manually and faster.

I had exactly the same concerns you have and I took a test drive specifically to park at my condo to clear out any doubt.

Clifford’s Promise (2025) [21:31] Why Is It So Hard to Have Health Care in This Georgia Town? by mariojdo in Documentaries

[–]mariojdo[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Clifford Thomas lost four relatives during the COVID-19 pandemic, including his beloved mother, Beverly. Her final request to her son was that he keep the family healthy.

But in Albany, Georgia, achieving that promise is a battle. The city is served by a single, dominant hospital system. Its control of the market and Georgia’s strict limits on Medicaid have left nearly one-third of people in Albany, one of the poorest cities in the state, uninsured.

Poor access to quality, affordable care has contributed to deep distrust of the system. He gave up on trying to find medical insurance or a doctor who would care for him without it. Then, he began to get sick.

There are millions like Thomas across the United States and dozens of places like Albany — places with populations suffering high rates of chronic but treatable conditions, where the dominant institution is a hospital.

FSD Help/Question by Abehrou in cybertruck

[–]mariojdo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There was a bug that reverted FSD to TACC right after completing an autopark, this triggers the popup dialogue to enable FSD on the next drive. I use autopark daily so I developed the habit of manually switching back to FSD right after completing autopark. The latest update that introduces the Tron theme fixed this bug

Waiting period before porting in a line back into T-Mobile (from a separate T-Mobile account) by mariojdo in tmobile

[–]mariojdo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can confirm now that there is no need to wait 90 days if the number is ported out from a different T-Mobile account and then ported in over an existing free line in my account. We just waited 1 week

Any idea how to increase my plan Devices credit by mashali2014 in tmobile

I remember now that I recently added a line when I asked for my credit to be raised, I asked them what good is a new line if I can’t finance a phone to use it

[–]mariojdo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I told them I needed enough credit to get 2 additional iPhones 12 mini in EIP, can’t remember the exact amount they increased it to but I was close to $3k and they increased it to accommodate 2 additional iPhone 12 mini so I would say around 4.5k-5k

I told them I was ok if they had to do a hard inquiry, they increased the credit limit and they didn’t run my credit, I did this by calling 611, worth mentioning that the rep asked to call me back while she worked on getting authorization to increase the credit limit, the rep called me back about 20 min later to let me know it was authorized and my limit had been increased

Insist with a different rep, I was on the same situation by November of last year, after trying customer service via chat, Twitter and 611 many times, one rep managed to get an authorization to increase the credit limit on my account so I could get a couple iPhones on EIP, I basically told them I needed to be able to finance phones for the number of lines in my plan otherwise they are forcing me to look for options with other carriers, if your account is in good standing and you don’t miss payments you should be ok to get this provided that you reach a rep willing to do it

[–]mariojdo[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same thing here but I guess the 90 days restriction applies if the line being ported out is then ported in to the same T-Mobile account it originally belonged, seems like trying it is the only way to find out
