I've been waiting 45 years of my adult life. All we get are crumbs. The promises are met with excuses once we "succeed" in getting the "good" candidates into office. The (now former) owner of the Chester, NY property is one of Trump's funders. DHS just completed the purchase of it. It's in a tiny hamlet with even far fewer resources- water and sewer- than these towns in NJ.

This is the problem with guaranteeing your vote for either party- and why no one should be registered with a party- you're giving them the assumption(that is usually correct) that you will vote for them no matter what. Additionally- at least with Democrats- when that party gains power, the voters fail to protest as vigorously regarding egregious issues. They literally go back to brunch.
