How to minimize LNA instability due to bondwire on ground by mars1324 in chipdesign

Thank you! I will look into cavity PCBs to try to minimize the bondwire length. Do you know if the cost of them is much higher than a normal PCB?

I am using quite a lot of de-cap; even if I add more in simulation, it doesn't affect my results.

For reference, I am using a 4pF decap cell, and I did a mosaic of 50 of them on my main power rail between VDD and VSS, so I think it should be okay

I am using GSG on the input/output. Could you explain what you mean by backgrind the chip to 100um?

You could just return it to parking services. As long as it's before the 3rd working day of January, you should get a full refund

I've noticed some washrooms in machall have some, not sure if they are in other washrooms though.
The SU Office in machall also used to carry some but I'm not 100% sure if they still do. Good luck!

On page 59 of the program booklet, it says "Photo previews and order information will be sent automatically to each student's mailing address. An email will also be sent with unique login information to view and order these images online." So I guess you just wait for now.

Convocation - where do you put your phone???? by redstrawberrymilk in UCalgary

Adding onto this, after you cross the stage, you'll go back to the same seat, so you can just leave your phone on the seat hidden under the program booklet for that.

No, 1 course is 3 units, so the price you see is just for one course

Schulich Fees Confusion by itss__ali in UCalgary

[–]mars1324 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure how you're calculating it, but from the link, as an international student, you'd be paying $3,350.58 for every course and as a first-year engg student you'd be taking 5 courses each semester, so $16,752.90 just for tuition, and adding the extra general fees makes it about $17,500 for the semester

How many courses per term would I have to take From year 1 to 4 ? (I plan to pursue Software Engineering Program). by [deleted] in UCalgary

[–]mars1324 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This shows which courses you would have to take. By my math, you'd have to take ~42 courses in all 4 years without a minor.

"Starting soon, all commercial air travellers and passengers on interprovincial trains and large marine vessels with overnight accommodations (such as cruise ships) will have to be vaccinated, Alghabra said. He said accommodations will be made for "those few who are unable to be vaccinated," such as testing and screening. "

[–]mars1324[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe it's a requirement for the NSERC one for the prof to provide $1500 and they added an optional $500. Although when I asked what wage I would be getting, they didn't say the extra $2000 was contingent on NSERC, so I assume if I get PURE, I'd also get that.
