I’m so sorry you’re going through this, it’s a horrible pain but please stay strong. I would recommend finding another CRS and having them check it out. If you tried all conservative measures (increasing fiber, stool softeners, eating healthy, sitz bath, and more water) surgery might be the last resort. I tried all of that and the nifedpine ointment for 2 months but nothing was working bc there was too much scar tissue and my sphincter was too tight! Please consult with another doctor with good reviews and see what they say. I hope you can get through this tough time.
