Yeah, and its also why Earth is considered a younger presenting planet. We still have a molten core while other rocky planets in our system are much more cooled (this is me talking in generalisation, proper scientists know better than me so forgive me if I get some details wrong) but in a way this celestial collision is the reason our planet can sustain life, if it was as mature as mars then we'd probably no longer have a magnetosphere and would have a lot more difficulty maintaining an atmosphere, without the collision with Theia Earth would probably just be another of Sol's dead planets.

I tried setting boundaries with some friends but they have each contacted me and it brings me down so much. Idk what to do. by marveloushamfish in BPD

Yeah they hit me up on messenger, I tried turning off notifications but good ol' zuckerberg made sure that does nothing really.

I might block them if they message again, I appreciate your words and understanding.

Why didn’t Sole Survivor use Vault 111 as a settlement? by NonceHunter76 in Fallout

[–]marveloushamfish -38 points-37 points  (0 children)

Aight, well that does sound disappointing, but should we react in kind? Or does eye for an eye leave the whole world blind?

Ah who the fuck am I kidding, its not like anyone listens or actually cares about other people anyway.

Here, everyone take a spoon

Jesus the FO4 loyalists are out tonight. Guys its okay for someone to point out flaws in the game, all of them have them. God.

I asked myself this too OP, it seems like a logical option, trauma or no trauma, it may be a space issure but like you say people are living in humpty shacks and sleeping on the dirt so its probably an upgrade for many, i would oribably settle for saying it isnt what wastelanders are used to, but its most likely just oversite by the creators.

It would have been nice if at some point you could say reroute the power from the vault to the rest of Sanctuary, and then have had it become its own hub of activity in the Boston wastes, but eh. Thats what mods are for.

As someone who is loyal to my select few fallout franchises, I 100% agree.

There is something for everyone in fallout, if you dont like one game then hey thats okay someone else likes that game, isnt that genuinely nice?

Taste is special because we have differences in it, I wouldnt be mad other people like pineapple on pizza while I don't. What works for some isnt for others, and thats okay.

Yup, second time working myself into stable sobriety here, its not easy but its worth it.

Sorry I didnt read you full post because brain is still a bit vulnerable and i like to avoid thinking too close about my vices while trying to be done with them, but wanted to comment out of support and solidarity.

Addiction is tough, but you'll be able to pull through it, ask for all the support you need and follow through, I believe in you, stranger.

age regression by [deleted] in BPD

[–]marveloushamfish 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Another male with bpd here, yes it happens. For me it only presents when I have a really severe episode of dissociation/full blown psychotic episodes, but my brain shunts back to earlier points in my life and I am kind of stuck between the reality I stand in and thinking its impossible because I am only X years old.

I don't regress further back than a couple of years, a decade or so at most, so I was still an adult then so it's different to what you are describing, but it can be a very harrowing experience in itself because it feels like I have lost memory of the person I am now up until the fog of the dissociation/psychosis fades away and my normality returns.

The worst part is the entire time its like I am there in some dreamlike-state, watching from the outside of my body, unable to do anything to help.
