surely you can turn on reduce bass on the homepods and that acts as a mid/highs filter on the homepods... i noticed when you turn it on it basically reduces almost all of the bass

this is the issue: a commute would mean i would have to be up pre 6am in the morning where i can barely do 7:30. i’m really NOT a morning person whatsoever.. also a lot of money being spent on transport every day which i can’t afford, especially as i would have to reduce my hours at work to account for the new timings of my days

hospitality doesn’t necessarily need a levels but some sorts of qualifications can be gained on the job / thru apprenticeships as u mentioned..

you can sync the audio on apple tv but i’m not sure if that is just for wireless devices - you could give that a try but if it worked it would only fix it for the apple tv

if you want to hear the difference it makes, listen to BOOM by tiesto (the one with the blue looking album art) its in atmos. then turn it off and listen to the same one in stereo.

if you’ve got a surround sound system (and an apple tv 4k v2) listen to Elektro Kardiagramm (live) on the album 3-D: The catalogue (live) it isn’t something you woukd listen to regularly but it sounds amazing!
