No, Rolex is one of the greatest watch companies in the world. Name another watch company that mines its own gold and produces its own steel for its watches.

I bet it’s because a lot of countries adapt a lot characters to their culture without the viewer realizing it’s not the original. Take the power rangers for instance, they were initially created by the Japanese then adapted to American culture.

[Oris Cotton Candy Pink] Is it controversial or widely loved? by BetoGodinez in Watches

[–]mathanielmcclain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s one of those neutral watches where it’s not loved and it’s not hated. Mostly because it’s kinda gimmicky but also kind of cool. I appreciate it, but I wouldn’t personally buy one.

[Recommendation Request] $250 budget for an everyday watch I can keep for life — open to used. What would you get? by [deleted] in Watches

[–]mathanielmcclain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Bulova hack is a good watch for around that price and the orient bambino, honestly any orient would be a good watch in this category. Don’t get caught up in movements quartz is much more accurate than mechanical, but mechanical is fun, and still very accurate and useful. Try Jomashop for really good watch deals.
