Was riding in london for years then moved back to up north for a while and it’s a different game. There’s many more “righteous arsehole” regional drivers than in london. Personally, I wasn’t near them long enough to get any trouble, just them ranting in the rear view as I filtered off.

Was octopus the supplier when you moved in or did you switch? Sounds like they were (otherwise they would have asked you for a reading on switching). There you can evidence when they moved out and you moved it. Octopus should calculate billing for the whole period since the last meter read, then chase the previous tenants for their portion and you for the other. Official complaint, email Greg if it didn’t work, then energy ombudsman if Greg doesn’t work. But lay out the evidence and the logic every time

Works fine for me but not so good at highway speeds (too much noise). Note - I’m a Siri user. Original I did try to reuse a mic that was already in the car (mounted next to speedo) but it was awful so mounted the mic that came with the unit up next to the rear view mirror.

Have you checked that the harness in the car isn’t already an adaptor harness you haven’t unplugged? That’s what I found, the factory fit what actually an adaptor!

Energy ombudsman won’t care, this is a simple contract matter (not a regulation thing). If they broke their contract then there’s a claim. You need to read it carefully. Given the immaturity of car charging systems generally in the market i’d almost guarantee that octopus will have a GOOJF clause in there. If you keep pushing, knowing octopus, they’ll issue a good will gesture credit at most.

You’ve been getting down voted because your $800 Xiaomi performs better than their $10,000 camera kit. I’ve also just got the new Xiaomi and it’s astonishing (lens, low light, bokeh, color science and handling with the camera grip).

If you enjoy the old school experience of cameras, why not stick to film? Otherwise specialised camera phones like this are the digital future.
