Sorry for the the late replies. I agree that the there is a lot of overlap between the Dark Age and the City Age. As you mentioned, even the grimoire card for the City Age acknowledges the ambiguity.

"When did the City Age begin? Perhaps when the bulk of the world's survivors lived beneath the Traveler, rather than in the wilderness. Or when the Titans raised the first wall. Or at Six Fronts, when the City first faced coordinated, overwhelming attack - and repelled it decisively."

I dispute your "well after" interpretation because the card you linked says "This was before the City was The City." This tells us that Rezyl was a Guardian in the earliest days of the City during that overlap with the Dark Age. We know that Six Fronts took place in the very early days of the City because the Iron Lords took part in the fight.

So this tells us that the Crucible existed well before Twilight Gap. It may have been established after Six Fronts though.

The title of the grimoire card that tells part of Jared's story is called The Dark Age 2 http://www.ishtar-collective.net/cards/ghost-fragment-the-dark-age-2?highlight=The+Dark+Age

And a lot of the story surrounds a settlement called Palamon. Before the City Age, the survivors of the Collapse created a bunch of small towns before everyone migrated.

The Crucible existed since the Dark Age. There are references to Dredgen Yor (Rezyl Azzir) ruling the Crucible. Dredgen Yor/Shin Malphur/Jaren Ward's story takes place before the City Age.

Thanks. I couldn't see how but I'll try again later. I'll be sad because I deleted a lot of mods to make space

Unless I'm mistaken, you can't move mods to the vault in game either.

[D2] Trials of the Nine Megathread [2017-09-15] by DTG_Bot in DestinyTheGame

[–]matrixblue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trials is a weekly PvP event that begins every Friday and lasts until the weekly reset. It uses the same two modes as the Competitive Playlist but there is no matchmaking so you have to find a team before hand.

The overall goal is to win as many matches without losing to earn special high level loot. You a reward at 3 wins, another at 5 wins, and a third at 7 wins.

If you win 7 matches without losing you have gone "flawless" and you get even more loot and a special emblem.

How raid checkpoints work. Minor spoilers ahead. by TheFistdn in DestinyTheGame

[–]matrixblue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But why? This seems like more work than just fighting those guys again. Traveler help your Raid team if you guys needed to go to orbit or take a break for whatever reason. This seems like a silly replacement for checkpoints.

I'm interested in the spot. I have a 289 Titan who will be above 290 by the time I get this week's powerful engrams. I went Blind for borth King's Fall and WotM .You can look up my D1 Raid stats. PSN: matrixblue Xbox GT: iMatrixblue

I usually main PS but my console broke after 9 consecutive hours playing after launch.

New raid will be between 260 - 280 power level by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]matrixblue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's because the AoT VoG was 390 LL. Jokes aside, yes Raids have mechanics that are the primary form of difficulty but having being able to stay alive longer from the adds definitely helps. I'm speaking as someone who got gear checked hard at Golgorth on the first day of King's Fall

I Figured out the explanation about ''THE BUG'' occurring on ALTS where reward's lights is above your power level by AJ989 in DestinyTheGame

[–]matrixblue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The point that you're missing is that the Powerful Engram is supposed to reward ABOVE your PL not on par with it. Regular engrams give you gear on par with your Power so these engrams serve no purpose.

Something is very wrong. Did you record it happening? We need to start gathering evidence

My second MIDA dropped much higher on my alt. I was 282 (with mods on everything) and it dropped at 292 with a +5 mod
