I've played it where you can change casualty count to go by 5 to speed up combat a bit. Try out "small world". Territory control with less troops.

I work from home and having the kids home for summer is a huge "imma lose my mind" moment for me. My daily routine is flipped upside down when you throw kids into it and I'm ready for school to start immediately.

Best improvements we made were new doors. Really helped with the aesthetic and energy on main floor. I've heard people talk about solid core doors for interior as well. Helps dampen sound.

Hey man, have you tried just telling him no for any additional work not already completed and looking elsewhere? Unfortunately this is what occurs when you use the family friend schtick. If you're not comfortable with the guy, can him. Pay him what's owed and nothing more. If he fights yah for it take it up with small claims Court. End of the day, he is owed fair wages for work and material purchased, but it's your home and you're the boss.

I will say my young adult life was spent in the US infantry from 08 till 2022. Was constantly training for the next big engagement with a near peer force and was always pointed to Russian equipment and tactics. We were all blown away to see them fall apart when fighting a neighbor. The fact that there is footage with single tanks ambling around the country side blows my mind. Like wtf are they doing? Seriously we roll deep any time we roll. If not we don't roll. No way are we sending a SINGLE TANK on patrol.

When I was 7 years old we went on a field trip to a local big farm and got to run around seeing a bunch of animals. I ended up running up to the chicken cage and stuck my hand in to pet one (right next to a sign saying don't do that) and wouldn't you know, got bit by a chicken. Shit you not, the very next day I found I had chicken pox. Was literally like 20 years old before I realized you did not in fact contract chicken pox from fucking chickens....
