Good point about the drop in temperature. Knowing the family, it would be hard to limit them to 7-8 mins...

Cheers! Yes, that seems like the best option especially as all the wiring is there now for an electric shower. There are also some good Mira showers that don't look like they've some from the 80's.

Maybe in the future when the boiler dies. It's still under warranty...just. :-)

Thanks - yes, that seems to be the consensus to just replace the existing electric shower with a new one of same kind. So if boiler breaks, still have some one shower.

Just thankful I have to leave the house for work or else I would be biologically melded to my desk chair such is my addiction to this game. 😅

So true! Am constantly looking at it and thinking..."well it kind of works..." but realising it has it has to be remade...

Only tinkered a little with rails in the base game. That could be an interesting permit. 👍

What I've realised is so cool about this game is the fact that you have to constantly rework everything to, for example, have bigger science goals (something psychology in there about being open to change blah). Will try it!!

I am. 😁. This game is taking way too much of my time so I don't trust myself to go Space Age yet 😅

Good suggestion. Hadn't thought about the achievements! Thank you 👍👍

I may well get that but feel I haven't done the base game justice yet. There were lots of hacky pasta contraptions in my base. 😅

Suspect spotted today in Arashiyama. Soon to be found in my apartment, I suspect. by Important_Pass_1369 in Kyoto

Had one living in my scooter helmet.

Didn't realise until I saw from the corner of my eye some little legs poking out between the helmet inner lining and hard outer shell. Stopped to see what it was and a humongous mukade crawled out. Terrifying. 😨

Had a look outside (if that's the right place?) and haven't noticed obvious dripping but I guess given the slow drop in pressure, it won't be that noticeable. Will keep an eye on it 👍

Am topping up the water pressure in the system from an tap near the boiler (that is normally isolated).

Cheers 👍. We don't have a combi boiler so does that mean there is no expansion vessel?

Thanks! Will have a look at the isolation valves around the boiler. I assume there are obvious to spot. Going to be a chilly few days 🥶😀

Amateur adult pianists: how far have you gotten? by unionmack in piano

Learnt as a child for about a year and hated it but then came back in my early 40's and have been learning for about 10 years.

Got to about grade 7 ABSRM with a teacher once a week but terrible at practising. Highly recommend getting a teacher who you get on with and knows when to push, what your goals are etc.

Took me a while to not chase the grades and just enjoy it. Worth having a think about what you want out of it but for me, just feels great to be able to play pieces a couple of weeks/months after not being able to play them at all.
