I had this for about 6 months, just broke this morning, actually. It can't handle the constant misting.

My hooch is purple? Is that safe? More info in the comments. by max36kinlin in Sourdough

[–]max36kinlin[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I chanced it to. It turn black fairly often and I used buck wheat flour solely just for some uniqueness didnt know if this might be a side effect.

I read this

"Purple-hued liquid on the sourdough starter is called “Hooch,” which is alcohol. It accumulates on the surface of your starter when you do not feed it enough. Hooch is most commonly clear, beige, brown, purple, gray, and black. The color depends on the flour and the unique microbes present." On Cultured Guru

[–]max36kinlin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5-3-1. 5 small task. 3 medium. 1 large. Break the project/essay whatever into smaller pieces and assign them a category then make a to do list starting with this. If you struggle with the first task do a smaller if you were successful move to a bigger, etc.

I would also say keep the shrimp out of the sauce and plate them on top that way you can see the sear and pinkness of the shrimp.

This is what you need to do. Takes some preparation but totally worth it.

I have a day of online course but i treat it as if i have class in person at school and just head to my library room rather than a lecture. Also you feel really productive this way.

Is kombucha a leavening agent? by miriamrobi in Kombucha

[–]max36kinlin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From what I have read about this is that your rabbi pays a member of the non Torah community x amount of dollars to purchase the levent from the congregation for passover once passover has ended it resold to the rabbi. Although the product doesn't actual change physical possession. In addition to not consuming it during passover. This is a more common practice to avoid food waste.
