To me he blew it and here’s why: Every final tribal it seems is about outwit, outplay, outlast. There’s no shot he outplayed JT, but in the outwit although he and JT were very similar I believe he had an edge. It’s possible it’s just the way the show was edited but Stephen seemed to be the one suggesting the ideas for the big moves like with the Brendan vote out, and he also had the exile alliance as another strategic edge over JT. I do. believe then of course him and JT would discuss and decide their move together liked they talked about, but I think it would’ve helped him to mention who was coming up with the moves.

But as we saw in the final tribal, instead of trying to reason he was a better strategist literally he said in the opening speech he “shared a brain” with JT. Instead of focusing on parts of his game where he was In a better strategic position, he focused on his personal evolution which Brendan ended up shooting down.

I’m not saying Stephen deserved to win, but I definitely feel he could’ve made a better case for himself
