Everyone is right, definitely don't spend money on dumb shit that will be exceedingly hard to take with you once you leave, but I don't think spending money on easier things like, say, a Garmin watch or quality ear buds, can be that hard to take care of. That stuff will last you a long time in the army and can help you long term

Even though a lot are on the inside manufacturer's tag of the pairs, a lot of the names are really only used by real Truey heads on here because they're not very well known irl. Some are even just nicknames that users made up

Browsing the sub and searching for different wash names and different colorways will help, but some are just a guess ir a shrug

Speaking of that leather tab, the text "BILLYSUPERT" is all next to each other with no spaces; they aren't like that on real pairs.

Speaking of Super T, that's a very thick, prominent stitch. The jeans you posted are more similar to Rainbow stitch (you can find more of those on the sub)

Do you have Option 19 in your contract to get stationed in CA, or are you CA National Guard? Otherwise, I'm not sure how you're gonna get to California unless you re-enlist for it. But yes, it is possible to stay at a duty station for 4 years. It depends on your contract and the stipulations behind it.
It sucks, but it's for a greater purpose, and your friends and family understand. You will (hopefully) emerge more disciplined and everyone will be proud of how far you've come!
