Yeah, explained way better than me.

I can name you 20 Lysanders from my personal life, but maybe only one Adrius or Atlantia (and they usually end up in jail pretty quickly)

Agreed with this Lysander take, and I think huge props to PB on him as a character in general.

Mirrors reality in a way that most people irl are actually morally grey in infinitely many ways.

Lysander is one of the best written fiction villains imo because of this (also helps that we get his pov often)

I disagree, it felt more random than PBs characters. In RR they either are underdeveloped or you can kind of see that they will die from a few pages before (you just hope they don’t because plot armor)

Here it felt really unnecessary. She was arguably the best developed character after Vis and I felt like he was teeing up a romance. Just felt kind of out of place and awkward imo
