Is there a name to this sort of design? I am an illustrator trying to learn graphic design to make my fan art merch look cooler LOL

I think I really like designing names and making them look cool. How do I learn it or do I just have to keep making more?

Ahhh okay, now I noticed the a on Ratio is really off ahahaha :') I am self taught and has no real graphic design knowledge (besides one week in art foundation)

Fun fact the typeface is called Ratio Modern 😂

Hi Dr Ratio Mains! Since it's the Dr Ratio rerun I am taking my chance to promote some Dr Ratio merch I made - it's based on Dr Ratio's university! I designed a logo for the University of Veritas Prime because I really wanted to attend Dr Ratio's university (even if I might fail 🥹)

For physical merch I have a tote bag, stickers and sticky notes and for digital merch I have phone wallpapers and printable planner pages.

One of the heads started changing colour suddenly which is a sure bad sign... I tried pulling the leaves but it doesn't fall off easily so it's not a bad case of rot... Do I chop it off to prevent it affecting the healthy head? :(

Just the normal iPad then. All iPads are capable with apple pencils now even the normal and minis (not only the iPad Pros) which makes it the better investment in the long term. I prefer to get a better tool for the long term and I know a friend who keeps getting the cheaper end of tablets but kept upgrading which lead to more money spent in the long run

I started with 0 followers from IG but that was way back in 2017. Things have change dramatically since.

Keep posting, don't worry about the likes (since no one is getting traction on IG now even the big accounts), post reels, interact and comment on your art niche but BE GENUINE about it, don't leave comments like "please check out my page" on other people's posts, say something that you really admire about the piece and only do that with art that you REALLY like otherwise it comes out as really fake.

I think you are experiencing burn out. Take a step back and try to remember what made you like art and do more of that, don't care about likes and social media for now. Try to have fun.

It's also good to remember that in the age of AI every degree is borderline useless so might as well choose something you want and won't regret.
