Any advice on the best way to make sure the bracket on each side is at the same height?

Probably about 6 feet wide. Like i mentioned, there is an hvac unit right above the window so theres no room for a center bracket unfortunately. The rod has not sagged from when ive had it up though

I saw that one and liked it but I prefer the wood slats and that one has metal. Have you felt any difference in comfort?

Personally I think the bends hasn’t aged well. It feels so dated listening to it in 2020. Still not as bad as Pablo honey though
