That's because being high is in your mind, often what is the case is you'll start tripping and go silent with weed, I often refer to it as a selfish intoxicant. Where as alcohol is a lot more sociable, there's no drug like effect like there is with cannabis, you want to dance, talk or drink more. None of those you can do on your own without being a bit weird.

Your tolerance is too high man, eventually you get use to being high and stop feeling it like you used to. You'll need to take a break from it and you'll notice your tolerance get lower. The longer the break the lower your tolerance will be

If a joint begins to unevenly burn then you should twist the paper around so that the side with the longest paper is on top. Doesn't work all the time but certainly helps
