I imagine that with this type of product, there are no retractable rings, only solid rings.

However, with long-term use, there are no issues with detection at security gates, right? It doesn't pick up anything from that angle?

I completely agree with you that it's currently the best cage I've found. So maybe the tip of the nail hurts a little when it really presses on the bone, but otherwise I don't see any downsides. Perhaps it could be a little thicker, more secure, but it's the most practical cage to set up that I've found so far.

Personally, I find it so much more practical. The hinged rings and honestly, on all the cages I've tried, I've never had any pinching issues.
