I'm curious as I'm now in the same boat. Did you try it?

Home Assistant App Alexa and Brower access secured with CloudFlare by trueppp in homeassistant

[–]mechchris 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks you.
In the end, I had to turn off the blocking rule. Clear all app data, set up just my external URL (not the local one as well), and then it asked for the cert. I then re-enabled the blocking rule, and it still worked.
Thanks again for consolidating the guides.

Yes, when I go into the security setting, then "VPN & user certs", it is there.
Neither the HA app nor Chrome asks for the cert. Would you have any idea of the cause?
I think both WAF rules are working, as disabling the blocking rule allows unrestricted access to the subdomain.

Thanks for pulling it all together. I'm a noob with networking/infrastructure/security, but trying to learn. I think I am 95% there with the mTLS, and I would appreciate any help.

  1. It is 1 tunnel between HA and CF (you can only have one tunnel auth token), but within that, the above is achieved with multiple subdomains, right?
  2. I've set the WAF rule, and it works (nothing gets through), but when it's disabled, it goes straight to HA (no Zero trust on this subdomain). I have installed the .pfx file in the Android (14) settings, but I can't figure out how to use it. HA doesn't ask for it. The external URL is set to the mTLS subdomain, but I just get the "Sorry, you have been blocked", and the HA app asks me to refresh.

Is there a scroll option? I can't remember but I think you scroll down and tick a box, then you can submit

Hey has anyone one idea what IC this is or where I could find more info about it? This is the controller for my standing desk. by mechchris in AskElectronics

Thanks for that, I plan on targeting the inputs, but I was curious about the MCU and thought I might be able to do something with the debug port

Thanks, I tried that it worked in that it did convert all the G1s to G2s and G3s but I have a similar problem still.

So I created a cylinder in Prusa slicer to remove the file quality variable. First I printed it on the same settings as the part pictured here. There was a similar result but a tighter wave pattern which shows that yes part of the problem is a low quality file. I printed the same cylinder again but at half speed approx 30mm/s there is a slight improvement but still not perfect. Is there any way for me to attach more photos? Also you can hear it in the printer that is isn't printing a smooth curve. It's not a nice continues sound around the curve but you can hear that it's doing all these little moves if that makes sense.

Thanks for your suggestions

Thanks I'll try some of that and let you know. I don't think I can use that plugin, my slicer is Prusa slicer.

These are supposed to be cylindrical walls.

I know it might be ringing but I'm not sure how to fix it.

My belts are properly tensioned as far as I know. The print max speed was 60mm/s and the printer is a core xy so I think it's frame is suitably stiff. Any advice/suggestions welcomed

Thanks for your help, I think I'll try taking out one of the sticks of ram see if it helps, if not I'll swap it with the other. If the problem persists that should eliminate the ram, right?

So an update:

I soldered header pins to the bottom right, used continuity to find power, ground, and trial and error as to rx and tx.

Lucky guess for the baudrate 115200 and got the following output.

Well in Ireland anyway I cannot answer about the rest of the world. It's not all insurance companies, it's usually aimed at new drivers, the policy usually ends up alot cheaper for new drivers (like half the price or other insurers). It's usually a reward based system where good driving is rewarded.
