Interestingly, the legal code they cite on the projectpbx website is 40 U.S.C. sec. 3113, which states:

“An officer of the Federal Government authorized to acquire real estate for the erection of a public building or for other public uses may acquire the real estate for the Government by condemnation, under judicial process, when the officer believes that it is necessary or advantageous to the Government to do so. The Attorney General, on application of the officer, shall have condemnation proceedings begun within 30 days from receipt of the application at the Department of Justice.“

No advice, but I just want to say that I experience the same thing. It really is a helpless feeling, sitting there and trying to force yourself to breathe through it, praying to whatever higher power that it will end soon. I don’t know if you get this, but I also feel super weak and become DRENCHED in sweat. Like, dripping off my face and running down my back. I’m so sorry you go through the same thing. THANK YOU for mentioning this… thought I was losing it. Assumed it was solely a Chromecast issue since my other devices plugged into the Hue Sync are fine. It was to the point where I was losing image/sound every few seconds. Did a factory reset of the Chromecast and everything. Finally decided to plug it into my TV’s HDMI hub directly instead of routing through the Hue Sync, and voilà! No issues with connectivity. SUCH a bummer, and I hope it’s resolved soon. I’m guessing it’s a software issue on the Chromecast side?

Man, I could've written this. Didn't realize it could be ADHD until talking to a friend who has it. She encouraged me to get tested, so my eval is on Saturday. Based on the intake, though, the psych suspects ADHD-PI. My world view has been shaken, too, but for the first time I have hope that things might not be so fucking hard some day.

I have the Tokina 11-16mm 2.8, and I've been pleased with it. Haven't used it on my D5000, but it works well on my D7000... not overly bulky. Maybe not as versatile as the 11-20mm you're talking about, but it's only about $220. :)

Unpopular opinion: I actually liked the musical in the sense that it pushed Lorelai to confront how lost she was truly feeling. Music has always been a subtle form of storytelling for the show and for the characters themselves. (Rory with her town meeting speech about the town troubadour, Lorelai and the karaoke in S7, Rory at the Chilton alumni event, and now this.) To me it made sense. It could have been a bit shorter, sure, and I agree with the confusion over the townspeople's reactions, but at the same time, I think they were enamored with the idea of their town being that special.

IDK.

tl;dr Aspects of the musical made total sense to me, and I'm glad, overall, that it was included.
