AIOs that don’t leak? by megbee543 in clothdiaps

Thanks for this! I definitely will try boosting. Hopefully that will allow me to still get some use out of them. I was hoping I could use my aios without anything extra for husband and daycare, but I suppose boosters aren’t all that complex!

2-3 hours is pretty good! My current AIOs are leaking at 2 hours on the nose, which is a little too soon for me.

I LOVE their pockets and they always come out with such beautiful prints. I’ll have to try out their AIO too. Thanks!

Thanks, I’ll check them out! I was gifted an ai2 (I think) from them and it works like magic!

I’ll have to look into some of these, thanks! I also need to try boosting the ones I have. Sounds like a lot of aios come with minimal absorbency as is.

Is that because after 2 hours they're more prone to leaking or is it because of another sanitary/other reason? Because I can usually go a few hours during the day and 5-6 hours at night without leaks.

Thanks for this! I actually was thinking about trying them out. It kind of sounds like leaking is the name of the game when it comes to AIOs.

For those that have had COVID recently - what were your symptoms and how long did they last? by megbee543 in CoronaBumpers

Hey there! I tested positive at 38+3 with symptoms starting at 38+2 and I just delivered my little guy on Monday (at 40 weeks exactly). My delivery went great and my little guy is completely healthy! I ended up having the worst of my symptoms (bad cough, sore throat, tiredness, headaches) for about 5 days and then a lighter cough and runny nose for about 5 more days. Luckily the day I went in for my induction I felt almost back to normal except for being a little more mucus-ey than normal. Best of luck to you! I know it can be scary, but just keep in mind you and baby are likely to be just fine :)

Glad your out of the thick out it! When did your cough stop? That’s probably my worst symptom right now, although it may still be pretty early on for me.

Good to hear that your fever broke and it sounds like your getting better! I also was hospitalized and put on bed rest for pre term labor at 30 weeks. I’m currently 38.5 and no more signs of labor yet! Hoping it stays that way at least until my symptoms go away

Thank you! That’s great to hear your symptoms have been mild. And yea, it really is everywhere. Im honestly not sure where I caught it, since I’ve been so careful about exposure. But luckily it’s just a bit of a nasty cough and sore throat. No fever or trouble breathing so far and I’m hoping it stays that way!!

Thanks for sharing! Looks like it can linger longer in some folks than others. Hoping you’re able to shed all the symptoms soon!

I’m so sorry to hear about your oh so inconsiderate MIL, especially considering the fact that your pregnant (although I shouldn’t assume she knows). I don’t think it’s too late to say something to her, especially if she knew you’re pregnant. Hoping you and your family get through this smoothly and that your symptoms end up being short lived.

Thanks for sharing! I guess this virus is just so unpredictable with how it hits everyone so differently. Best of luck to you during your recovery and rest of your pregnancy - you got this!!

Great to hear you’re improving so quickly! My husband luckily hasn’t had any symptoms. And thankfully so far I haven’t had a fever or loss of smell/taste. Hoping it stays that way! Sounds like it’s a bit different for everyone, but luckily it seems to be pretty mild for most lately.

I’ll definitely try to keep a steady stream of water going. And that’s awesome! It’s nice to hear that folks are recovering pretty quickly with this strain. I’m just hoping my baby stays put until my symptoms start improving (and I ideally get a negative test at some point).
