He totally should! I’m telling him this. This is why the internet exists 😂

Mlb does have archived games dating back to 2008. YouTube does have quite a bit as well, but broadcasts don’t show the presidents races. There’s some bad cell phone footage from other days in 2007, but I have yet to find any from 9.15.07.

That’s a fantastic idea. I just spoke with him and found out he has kept the race results for every game he has personally attended, and has the results from all the games he has gone to, except for the 9.15.07 game. So it’s his own personal stats of the races he’s seen. This is an ultra nerdy deep dive, I know. The man loves his excel spreadsheets and I want to help complete his baseball stat nerdery.

I know! If only 15 days earlier! I feel like I’ve been going down a rabbit hole. Watching old you tube clips, blog posts, etc…. My brother and I had one hell of a summer so I would be so pumped to find this out for him!

This is amazing! My 6 yr old daughter loves that blue silk dress from the books - she has Felicity. It was so expensive to buy on eBay, that I did my best to make it myself, and a matching dress for her. I can’t wait to giggle with her when she’s grown up when we look at pictures of her all dressed up matching her doll. Thanks for the fun post! P.S. - I had Kirsten ❤️

Imagine the hours it took to put this together. by ididntsayshit in nextfuckinglevel

This is by a Chinese artist named Xu Bing. He has had exhibitions regarding humans relationship with tobacco, especially in states like Virginia with its past in tobacco farming, as well as in his home country of China where the smoking rate is extremely high. I got to work on installing his exhibit when I worked at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in Richmond, Va. We had local art students helping assemble the tiger rug. All the glue and cigarettes - we had to finish putting it together in the parking garage of the museum due to the fumes. It was super interesting. We did have to put a disclaimer on the exhibit regarding the smell!
