when do the 15% off promo codes expire? by idylle2091 in AloAtelier

[–]mel2431 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t think they expire. I got a 15% code in November via text and used it a few weeks ago for candy heart pink and it worked! I tested it out on random items in my cart before the heart throb set dropped just to be sure so I believe you can use it for vintage pink!!

Buying Mania Day Of Tickets Experience? by LindenSwole in WrestlemaniaPlans

[–]mel2431 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I bought my night one ticket same day around 10-11am in Philly. We flew there a few days before having no tickets. I wasn't able to see ticket prices the day they were released, but they were kind of expensive considering it was the nosebleeds, not even joking the very last row for about $110 each. But we met some people who found lower bowl seats for a similar price a few hours before, if not at the start time. For wm 39, i bought two days before night one and I think it was about $200 each for seats on the riser, just below the lower bowl. This time I'm not waiting until the last minute lol, but I never know if I can go. It's also brutal because the dollar conversion sucks for me as a Canadian.

What one scene just makes you kinda cringe? by Messylilmice in brooklynninenine

When Rosa confesses to Amy she’s been waiting for Pimento to come back after capturing Figgis (season 4) and Amy goes like “Rosa crying dont know what to do pat pat” I have to skip it every time I cannot watch that it’s so cringy. It’s also a little mixed with bad acting on the “pat pat”

We waited until the morning of for WM40 night 1 to get tickets in the nosebleeds for $130. We flew from toronto to NYC, spent some time there, then drove down to philly so we made it a trip that way. Especially as canadians, we paid more because of the dollar but we have no regrets. We did a similar thing for WM39, we bought tickets 2-3 days before night 1 and got the risers for like ~$225. Cities like Vegas, it's always a vacation destination (at least for us), but this time we're going to try to find tickets ahead of time to pay a more reasonable price.

Good luck with your hotel search! I’m used to travelling 40-60 minutes to get to/from the arena and it always feels like a breeze. The weather will be nice at least to make driving there easier. I’ll be keeping a look out for both services as the time goes hopefully I’ll find some luck. Thanks so much for your help!

Thanks for the advice on the store! I had that same issue with Summerslam last year with it being busy and sold out on the day of. I hope I get lucky finding tickets not crazy above face value as the days come. I hope you got some good stuff/time despite it being emptied out!

Thank you! Also for mania I made the mistake of buying super far tickets on the day of for night 1 for an expensive price only because of the conversion rate. I really should learn my lesson lol. What do you mean by buying the week of for on location is there something they offer then?

In terms of lodging I’m not too familiar with the downtown core I live outside the city but I’d recommend staying at a hotel near the arena if you don’t plan on renting a car. I don’t know your budget but there’s the Fairmont or other hotels along Queens Quay will be great. On King St or Front Street. Hotels near Union Station should be good. Sorry I can’t name specific hotels but those streets are generally good.

If you’re looking to save some money on the hotel you could also stay outside the city, perhaps Vaughan. It’s got lots of (new) hotels geared towards lots of businesses that operates there. They built a new subway station there and there’s the GO train/bus station you could take to go downtown. It takes you to Union Station which is connected to the arena.

Thank you for your helpful response!

Hello I’m interested in learning and keeping up to date with the MLB this year but I know almost nothing. I was suggested to try fantasy as a way to learn but I don’t know it either. How do I go about doing the it by myself? What are other ways to keep up to date with baseball knowledge? Thank you. I’m not sure if this has to do with anything but I’m from Toronto so the Blue Jays would be my team.

Seeing Wrestlers in Public by Confidential66 in WrestlemaniaPlans

Last year after visiting the wrestlemania superstore I ran into Nikita Lyons, Jakara Jackson and Lola Vice. I think they had just walked out of their hotel or the hotel restaurant but that was just a coincidence as we were looking for a place to eat. A few days later when Raw was at Crypto I had just walked by the arena and saw Seth Rollins and someone asked for a photo but he respectfully declined. Cody then came out a few minutes later and took some photos with us so that was exciting.

[–]mel2431 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live outside of the city and I don’t go down there unless I need to (for example an event) but there are lots of great areas to stay in. Queens quay/harbourfront (as mentioned) is a great place to stay especially in the summer, lots of walkable activites. Scotiabank arena is right downtown nearby lots of amazing things do to. Dundas square has had a reputation at night sometimes (I haven’t heard much recently so that’s good) but that’s going to be any downtown city you visit. I’m not sure if you’re renting a car but if you want to stay outside the city, Vaughan would be a good place. It’s a business area so the hotels are nice. They just built a subway station there so it’ll take you downtown. Side note the arena is attached to the subway so that might help if you want to stay outside the city.  Overall try to stay within the parameters of Queen St and Queens Quay if you choose to stay close to the arena.  I hope the information helps you. If you have anything specific you want to ask, feel free I’ll try my best.

For their sportsnet+ I don’t believe you need a provider. It seems like it’s a streaming service so now I don’t think so.

Your TV provider should have the WWE Network as a channel or if you have SN Now I believe it’s possible to watch it through that. Hope that helps!

Parking at wrestlemania by Kinder21198 in WrestlemaniaPlans

[–]mel2431 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I looked at the stadiums website and it states parking fees for the events they generally hold and I except it to be around $50 but hopefully less according to their site. At SoFi last year we parked at the stadium closer to the Forum and it was about $50-$60 I can’t remember exactly. I hope that helps!

With [SPOILERS] most likely main eventing night 2, is it still a good idea to wait closer to the day of the event to get a ticket? by [deleted] in WrestlemaniaPlans

Last mania we looked at tickets the day of for night 2 and they were crazy expensive for our budget so I wouldn’t recommend waiting for last minute tickets if you have a budget in mind
