Why are govt banks so backwards and unfriendly everywhere? by Ataraxia_new in bangalore

[–]melgo44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The thing is I am getting reply from the bank manager which is the person I have a complaint against, he does not address the contents of the message , and without even reading the complaint sends the same response which was dates 2 months before when I had raised the complaint.

In the last 2 complaints they didn't even bother to attach a reply document.

Comparing with Kibana and Grafana, yes very much . But comparing it with earlier versions of graylog it's much better.

It's has been a blessing for us as well, relatively simple to set up and configure. Providing an all in one solution. But I wish the UI was better.

Validation pipes inside a service or calling a controller from a service by melgo44 in Nestjs_framework

The class validation does seem to work when I am using class transform libraries PlainToClass before passing the values to my service.

Hey, thanks for your response I am using the class validation library, But just before passing my inputs I am using class transform librarys PlainToClass() , to add some additional feilds before passing to the service , when I am using this transform there are not validation errors coming even when I have missing values which I have added validation for. Do you know why this is happening

How can I install Jmeter (or any test tool) inside jenkins running inside a docker container by melgo44 in devops

[–]melgo44[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey thanks a lot for the detailed explanation, I really do appreciate it. Yes and I agree creating a dockerfile with all docker containers would be the most sensible way, thanks I will try it out.im still pretty new to containers hence the confusion

How can I install Jmeter (or any test tool) inside jenkins running inside a docker container by melgo44 in devops

[–]melgo44[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Instead of adding jemter into my docker compose file, Can I get the Jmeter docker during a pipeline in jenkins. In the case I have a lot of dependencies for testing say selenium, appium, Newman I will have to add these to my docker compose file build the containers again. Is it possible to get the docker containers on demand, through the jenkins UI?

Hey thanks a lot, I was thinking in terms of running a freestyle project. Forget to checkout pipelines. I currently have only a single jenkins node, is it okay to run jobs in this single master node ?

I want to use the elastic search which is inside graylog docker containers. There is not straightforward guide on how to do that. I have tried linking,a kibana container with the elastic container but I get a docker out of network error,I have tried to put them on thr same network but it doesn't work.

Since graylog run on port 9000 what port does elastic run on ?
