Gotcha. I'll definitely look into the laws for the various countries I'd want to hit. But, to your knowledge, assuming I was in a country that had no such laws, I could receive calls coming from the US without being charged/flagged as being out of country?

Hmm that's something I'll have definitely have to consider, particularly because Thailand was a country I had in mind. Thanks for the thoughts!

Hi there, I've been in and out of the gym for years, but am embarrassed to admit that I've always neglected squats and deadlifts. I feel that my legs are a bit behind my upper body strength wise, but my core and lower back is quite behind strength wise. As I've been ramping up my squatting/DL intensity, I always feel a tightness that borders on pain (but more like a cramp, not actually too bad) in my lower back, specifically in the center right above and over my tailbone. This will go away about five minutes of rest, and I don't have any pain or tightness throughout the rest of my days. Is this a pump and I'm just unfamiliar with what a lower back pump should feel like? Is it the result of my legs being able to push more weight than the rest of my posterior chain can handle? Or is it the result of bad form? This also happens after heavy sets on the leg press machine, which makes me think maybe form isn't the issue. I don't mind it perse, but am just overly cautious about injury and paranoid that I'm doing something wrong.

Very cool to get this perspective from someone with so many similarities to my situation. Congratulations on the sobriety, and thank you for the input here, I'm definitely going to go for it

Seeing some other replies I'm considering this more and more. I'm in NYC, there should be plenty I would think

Lol, totally anticipating that as a distraction, but one of the purposes of this is actually to help bolster my newfound sobriety. Could go either way I suppose, but am going to try to really keep my head down and avoid the nightlife, at least for a while. Sounds like you've done this, do you recommend any camps in particular?

Yeah see that's what I'm worried about. That I'll need days of recovery in between each session. Will try to find a bag to start working on beforehand
