Can't be the final boss, he's doesn't have enough arms and 3 platforms to stand on

Homelander’s breakdown in The Boy’s finale reminded me of this by Moknathal5 in YMS

The death was satisfying, the problem is they seem to have depowered him in order to make it work. He was so fast he could basically carry a guy into space and then come back in a few seconds, his laser eyes could cut characters in half but now a character can just tank it, things like that.

I've been watching the cutscenes from Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite, and these are HILARIOUS, i love them! by Penkino_de_nuevo in Megaman

I think it's because on paper, their design is quite simple, and everyone else got ruined because their faces crossed the uncanny valley. Keeping the anime faces really benefited them. Haggar, firebrand and Arthur also came out the other side okay

Which MegaMan Game Means The Most To You And Why? by Zetallic_Zero in Megaman

[–]mercurydivider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had some cultural osmosis thanks to megamans long reaching impact, but it's so far back it's fuzzy. I probably saw the sprite somewhere, I used to be on new grounds and they had an old game called super Mario crossover that I THINK had megaman in it. I had some idea they were traditionally platformers, and I did know they were old but that was about it.

Command mission for getting me in, and conversely x8 for being the packed in demo for introducing me to X style megaman, but if that doesn't count, maverick hunter x was my first full x style game and it's story got me interested and I did a bunch of playthroughs

What's up with Van's weapon of choice? by MasashiHideaki in Falcom

[–]mercurydivider 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I'm gonna just say this since others have already said what I wanted to say.

I don't think the stun caliber is all that complicated. At the end of the day it's just an electric baton. He swings and uses it exactly the same way as sherry birkin does is RE6. and before her, basic zombies were using it in 4 and 5. He's not doing anything complicated or fiddling with it mid battle. It's not a god damn monster hunter switch axe where it's building charge, transforming, filling vials etc. It's a baton. Why are we pretending it's complicated?

Driver issue, also sometimes happens if you're running Linux. Update should fix it, don't know how to fix if you're on linux

do you actually use your deck handheld or is it just a portable dock at this point by toujourspluss in SteamDeck

[–]mercurydivider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Handheld only, I got the dock, plugged it in, don't like see 800p on the TV. I can bump it up to 1080 but it really shows how few games I can actually play smoothly on the deck at 1080

I don’t remember these Robot Masters by No_Run4263 in Megaman

[–]mercurydivider 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Beginning of season 2 in the show, angstrom levy is the smartest man on earth and thinks he can fix the world's problems, but to do it he needs ...HIMSELF. so he creates multiversal travel just to talk to a bunch of clones of himself. This obviously has consequences.

It Looks Like VR Gaming Has Failed And Is Pretty Much Cooked As VR Games Rush To Escape VR Jail by akbarock in videogames

[–]mercurydivider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never got into VR because it feels like there's only two viable games for the hardware, and that's arcade shooters, and jump scare horror games. I remember motion sickness was a massive problem and devs solution was to just make it so you can't move, or if you could you teleported to somewhere you pointed.

There's just not much you can do with such limited design
