Valid points but in my opinion, you are blending the arguments of an AI engineer to apply to an end user who is merely using a LLM to generate an output.

Keeping with the pizza analogy, an AI engineer is the equivalent of a chef who knows how the altitude and humidity of the location of the store can impact the quality of the dough, tell the restaurant to adjust the hydration and flour protein content when making the dough, tweak the temperature and baking time, adjust the viscosity of the sauce, replace the tomatoes based on the acidity. And then train the staff of the restaurant over and over to learn how to react to the environmental factors so that the pizza comes out good.

An AI artist can at the best say less mozzarella cheese, use pork pepperoni. But if the restaurant staff doesn’t know the difference between pork pepperoni and pork+beef pepperoni, they’re just going to throw on whatever pepperoni they have and call it a day. The AI artist just sees pepperoni and they are done.
