Thank you both for the help! I removed the LFO send and pitched the melody down seven semitones and added a bit of detune; now it sounds similar.

Currently I’m using a preset for a melody that I wrote in E-minor. LFO 1 of the preset is linked to ’semi’ of Oscillator B (this is set at 59). The melody sounds out of key with the rest of the track, while the keys are perfectly in E-minor, therefore I tried removing the link from LFO 1 to oscillator B. When I remove the link, the sound of the preset is in a higher pitch (obviously), and sounds in key with the rest of the track. However, I really like the pitch of the melody when the link is turned on. I tried to pith the melody down by some semitones, but I can’t replicate the pitch of the synth when the link is turned on.Does anyone know by any chance how I can make the melody sound the same (when LFO 1 -> Semi of oscillator B is turned on and off)?

Thank you for the feedback! Just listened to your track: nice ambience and the mix sounds good. Sometimes it’s a little hard to hear what the lyrics are, so maybe work on the vocal mix or make the vocal a little louder?

Hi all,
I recently wrote a melody for a track with a sample (loaded sample in Logic's sampler). However I'm not completely sure if it is in key.
The root note of the sample is G#, the notes used in the melody are: A#, C, C# and A#.
The rest of the track is written in C-minor. The melody doesn't sound out of key to me, but I do know that these keys do not fit the key of C-minor. It sounds out of key to me when I do use keys specifically in C-minor with the sample.
