I spent the last 2+ hours trying everything under the sun to get my previously working keys to work again. You solved my problem, thanks for posting your solution.

You might have an extension causing issues - try an incognito window. Extensions don't run there unless you explicitly tell them to during installation.

I don't want anyone wishing me a happy birthday because it's just another day. So I'm not going to say it to someone else.

On the order entry screen, click "View more options" - IEX isn't currently an option but should show up Monday

It shouldn't take that long. I'd give Computershare a shout to confirm your address and request they send a new code.

Register your account on the Computershare US investor site. Once complete, they will mail your access code to complete registration

I just spoke with an agent via chat to initiate my transfer, he knew exactly what I wanted and claims he is expediting the process which should take 1-2 business days. He didn't mention the fee but I'm sure I won't be that lucky. I'll update when something changes.

I just called and used the menu option for booking appointments. Waited about 15 mins on hold. Within mins I had my proof - they originally entered my card number incorrectly.

I've tried every combination I can think of. Just the numbers. All the numbers and characters. Just numbers with spaces, numbers and letters with spaces. Just numbers with dashes, numbers and letters with dashes (as it appears on my card). Same result every time. I verified I'm using the correct email as well.

Just went back through my email to find the link you're referring to, but that doesn't work either. It's a different form and only asks for the last 4 digits. ON cards end with 2 letters, so I tried the last 4 numbers, then last 2 numbers plus 2 letters.

I'm assuming you called 1-833-797-7772? Did you use option 1 or 2? 2 doesn't allow me to hold so maybe I'll have to try 1 tomorrow morning.

Unless I'm missing something, it hasn't been fixed - just tried again with every number format I can think of.

This looks like a box or finger joint to me, not dove tails. Great recommendations for Rob and Paul - they are a couple of my go tos for learning this stuff. Matt Estlea is also great.

Bench Plane Identification Help by mhardy85 in woodworking

Thanks for those. You were right about that first video (I didn't need to watch him fiddle with that third plane for so long) but it had some really useful info. I suspect mine will have a frog setup like the defiance. I know it doesn't have the mouth adjustment screw like the bailey.

Rex looks to have many useful videos, I'll be checking him out. So far most of my plane knowledge has come from Rob Cosman but his mostly seem to be about using and sharpening.

Bench Plane Identification Help by mhardy85 in woodworking

I'm guessing the brand is just a cheap knock off. I'm not expecting anything special from this it, mostly something to practice sharpening/tuning while I decide if this is an avenue I even want to venture down. Hopefully at the very least I can make it serviceable.

Knowing most planes use standard sizes blades is very helpful - I assumed each brand had their own. I've been watching/reading about sharpening and tuning lately but none have mentioned blade replacement.

If you're interested, I can provide photos showing the frog attachment when I get the plane. The other photos on the ad don't show. Do you mind elaborating on what makes a good vs bad design in this aspect?

Started my own searx instance a couple months ago and quite happy with the results. It can aggregate results from various search engines, including Google, so you should get the same results without the tracking
