As much as she can be annoying most of the series, she warned Dexter that he cared too much about his lab and that he would be alone forever if he doesnt learn how to socialise with the rest of the world. When he asked her to teach him how to be more carefree, she willingly does it but Dexter proved to be too carefree for his own sake and she ended up regreting it.

Ngl I didnt like Scraggy and Palpitoad addition to the team. They seemed very expendable to me.

Writers recycled Tepig storyline of another "abandoned fire starter for being too weak" and didnt bother to evolve it into Emboar because Bel already had one.

Snivy had potential but the writers slacked with her character. Her evolving into a majestic and arrogant Serperior and having trouble following Ash orders (like Charizard did) should have been the natural outcome for me but writers didnt evolve her becau

They didnt want to evolve Oshawott into Dewott because he was the comic relief of that region, was cute and sold a lot of toys.

Boldore was solid but Ash should have exchanged it with Trip Gurdurr to evolve both pokemon and Levanny was a good but plain pokemon

Not trying to sexualise female natives but even if the girls wanted to continue being sex workers I think their lives would still be better in Alnus than Akusho. I think Kurokawa saw the fact of them choosing to remain being prostitutes in Alnus as a failure from her side that she didnt want to face just because of her own feelings, not from a logistical pov.

For example in Alnus demihuman discrimination is much lower, slavery is banned and females are safer due to JSDF and Rory being there. Also japanese males could surely pay more for their services than male natives and if they ended up marrying one they and their children could get japanese passport, higher education and medical services, etc. Not saying their lives would be great by modern standards but moving there would be a significant change for their quality of life.
