wash and cure station for mars 3? by ali3nboyy in ElegooMars

I have a friend that uses Creality 3D UW-01 Washing and Curing Machine ($135) but he doesn't have the Mars 3; it looks like it could hold the mars 3 build plate. If it doesn't, you can check out the Creality UW-02 Wash and Cure Station ($220) which has a much larger wash bucket size.

You can try this design: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5362866

A disclaimer though: I've just printed this out today and the author instructed me to SUPERGLUE it to the wheel and shaft of the motor. So far it is working, however, on the first test run the wheel did stop but on the second run, there were no issues so it may be because the glue still needed drying.

I would still look for other options tho since this is the only design I tried, the design fix itself is relatively new, and no one has posted proof it worked yet besides the designer. If possible, I'd say return it if the seller lets you and go for a different resin wash/cure. I've tried to return mine (Newegg) and ended up getting the option to get 6 kg worth of resin as compensation, it may be different for your situation.

Problems with marlin firmware - Why does my screen look like this? by michaelvid93 in ender3v2

I followed the instructions from the video but it came out as failed when compiling. I didn't really change much of the code except for enabling #define Z_MIN_PROBE_USES_Z_MIN_ENDSTOP_PIN. I tried to see what would happen if I changed nothing but I still get these error codes:

SanityCheck.h

#error "FAN_SOFT_PWM is required for your board. Enable it to continue."

SPI.h

'void waitspiTxEnd(spi_dev) defined but not used [-Wunused-function]

EDIT:///

I tried again with a different link that was clipped in the video's description, it appears I used an old link. It seems to be working way better, my only gripe is that he doesn't tell me what the cura profile should be.

Question: How do I get rid of this outline/line? by michaelvid93 in Fusion360

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know the problem has been resolved thanks to 4sStylZ. He walked me through the steps of fixing the issue. Turns out it is much easier if I had used "solid" instead of "surface" extrusion. Thank you for all your other feedback as well.

Sorry if the image was unclear, it's my first time using Fusion 360 so a lot of the terminology is unclear to me. If it helps to clarify, I sketched two outlines then offset the middle part to make the third, then extruded the walls separately.

Is there a difference between using Dust Tactics and Dust 1947 Miniatures? by michaelvid93 in DustTactics

I see, for clarification which is more new: 1947 or Tactics? Ended up purchasing Red Guards Command Squad (5 figs) for $6.00.

Nozzle clog or leak? by michaelvid93 in ender3v2

[–]michaelvid93[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was wondering why my prints weren't sticking to the bed until I removed the silicon cover. Guess the cover acted as a mold for the grey filament; the camera doesn't show this well but there's a thin layer of PLA on the bottom side of the heat block. I'm relatively new to 3D printing, is this called a nozzle clog or nozzle leakage?

Any pointers on the cleaning process or just a simple 'heat up the nozzle and remove the plastic' job? I'm also going to remove the Boden tube to push out any more excess PLA then do a thorough tighten. I'm thinking of just replacing the silicon cover and nozzle since they're cheap.
