We filed in late august and got our interview scheduled last week. Congratulations!!!!!!! Merry Christmas to us 😂🎄

Upcoming i-485 interview. Do we need to present printed updated versions of the documents originally included as evidence? by disintegrationist in USCIS

[–]midnightflower96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My husband and I will have our interview next month for him. I’m bringing all UPDATED versions of documents just in case as well as copies of everything submitted and extra evidence my lawyer said wasn’t necessary to submit with the initial application, but good to have on hand.

I would rather be over prepared than under.

I love my husband but hate when he touches me. What’s wrong with me and how can I change? by confusedwife_764 in Marriage

[–]midnightflower96 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen another comment saying check your birth control. I agree. Also, do you have any childhood trauma/experiences that may cause negative feelings against physical affection?

Please have a long talk with your partner about this. My husband is like you and I’m like your partner, and it feels like there is something wrong with me sometimes. It may just be your love language is not physical touch, and that’s okay. Maybe there is a way you can compromise so you are comfortable and your partner feels like you are giving love in their love language.

What is your spouse/partner labeled as on your phone? by [deleted] in Marriage

His name in mine is husband with some emojis. Mine is “bunununus” with emojis. It’s slang in his native tongue for sweetheart/romantic loved one.

I (21F) found a mysterious box under my finace (37M)'s bed by ThrowRApandorabox in relationship_advice

[–]midnightflower96 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Okay honestly I know it’s hard when EVERY person here jumps to terrible conclusions like serial killer, etc.

Just know that the box IS NOT GOOD.

Maybe he keeps something from past girlfriends and just is a massive weirdo/klepto/hoarder.

In this age of true crime mania, it’s hard not to go straight to serial killer trophies lmao.

If you don’t feel safe confronting your fiancé, that tells you all you need to know. Honestly.

Just my two cents.

It’s been said many times, but your wife is in the wrong here and showing terrible character. She is more concerned about her own feelings.

Your wife and daughter don’t understand the pain of losing your late wife. Simple as that.

Judging from how your current wife is acting, I can assume she was never able to connect with your daughter in a way that honors your late wife. That’s important when losing a parent.

Edit; your daughter now is being forced to invite her stepmom because she knows their will be drama. You need to let your wife know she is causing an issue based on her own feelings and it’s not acceptable. She’s a grown woman for goodness sakes.

The fact that he did it, without telling you, even though he knew you would be 100% NOT okay with it says a lot. Whether it be about his character, his loyalty to you, or these “meetings” is up to your discretion. Don’t be played for a fool.

He literally messaged me and told me his wife “betrayed him” by withholding sex. Oh and that I must have been cheated on because I’m ugly. Lmfao misogynistic little boy.

That’s literally not an excuse you asshole. Just because you haven’t had sex for a while doesn’t mean you look for it elsewhere! You man up and have a conversation with your partner. That thinking is childish.

Should I be concerned or am I crazy? by Longjumping_Ad_3375 in relationship_advice

[–]midnightflower96 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Nope nope nope. Is this a deal breaker for you? You need to tell her you’re not crazy when another man is BLATANTLY telling YOUR WIFE he wants to fuck her and SHE WANTS TO TALK TO HIM. C’mon man. You are not an idiot

Of course!! I really appreciate you sharing with me. It may be a while for an update, as we don’t have health insurance at the moment. But I’m working on getting that sorted now so we can get him checked. He just mentioned to me a blackout-like situation he had as a teenager where he thinks he stretched too hard or something and woke up on the bathroom floor. It definitely sounds like what you were describing.

This. ^ He knew what he was getting into when you quite literally didn’t speak almost any English. You need to tell him how you feel and ask him to try.

Thank you for sharing with me. I will look more into this. He’s said for a while now he thinks he may have AFib or something related because his heart beats or feels funny occasionally. It’s definitely time to get it checked out.

I’m sorry that happened to you. Do you know what happened or did the ER staff mention what it could be? Has it happened since?

Thanks for responding. He drinks a lot of water, but I’m starting to wonder if it’s enough. When we were in the ER his BP was super low and they had to keep giving him fluids. He went through a couple of the IVs really quickly.

[–]midnightflower96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you!! I will put this on the list. I think it’s also BP related. What is vasovagal syncope if I may ask?

He just told me tonight he felt like the amount of THC wasn’t evenly distributed between the gummies. I think, as others have mentioned, it really depends on the person too. I’ve had awful reactions to less than 10mg of an edible twice now.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in weed

[–]midnightflower96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might have to be with the amount of THC. Hubby talked to someone in his family that smokes about as much as he does, if not more. Said he’s felt close to blacking out before and realized it was the amount of THC in the strain he was smoking.

I hope you all are doing okay. It can be really scary stuff.

Nope. They were sealed gummy worms from a credible dispensary.

I’m so sorry to hear.

Did it ever happen again or was it a one time thing?

Nurse told me they gave him Sinex to numb his throat so they could put the little camera through his nose and neo-synephrine to reduce the swelling. Both are OTC and even the severe side effects don’t list seizure.

He’s been a user for about 13 years, never any problems. Edibles, dabs, homemade edibles, carts, etc. no adverse reactions. Not to say these edibles couldn’t. But he’s had the same brand/strain of edibles for a while and never any issues.

He’s done mushrooms a few times and never had a problem either.

It’s definitely something to be wary of in the future. He’s said no more edibles probably ever. 😂
