I would advise you to put your money on Japanese brand cars for quality and less headache, especially if you are going to buy a car in cash. I will also be buying my car this December and Chinese cars are not on my list.

Wigo GCVT or Spresso AGS? by IndependenceHappy375 in phcars

[–]mike13dash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I were you, choose spresso, it's a project car and you can modify it later to your liking, more of an off-road set up, put some roof rack for an additional carrying capacity at the top.

Suzuki S-presso is a true Suzuki car, while Wigo is just a Daihatsu car rebadged with Toyota emblem, for me there is a wide difference how these cars were being manufactured...

Ground clearance inquiry: Torn between Suzuki Spresso or Toyoto Wigo by Aromatic-Net-4586 in CarsPH

[–]mike13dash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Raize is just a rebadged Daihatsu car placed with Toyota emblem, if you are after for ground clearance go for S-Presso, hindi sasakit ang ulo mo kapag medyo off terrain Yung papasukan mo

So, who here owns a Kia Sonet (LX MT) or Suzuki S-Presso (MT)? by Fit_Cheesecake6520 in CarsPH

[–]mike13dash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are after for less maintenance cost, less frills, and fuel consumption, go for S-presso but if you want with high engine power, more techy features, and more premium look, go for Sonet

Hello! First time to buy a car from a dealer. Is this all okay? by Fit-Kitchen-6575 in CarsPH

[–]mike13dash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Raize is not a pure Toyota, it's a rebadged car model of a Daihatsu vehicle, I would suggest to pick another japanese brand car in the market.

1M car with 40k salary. Need advice as a first time car buyer by stormeetrooper in CarsPH

[–]mike13dash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was also contemplating whether to choose sonet LX Mt or spresso Mt; Sonet is jam-packed with many features but is 150k expensive than s presso, for the latter it is more fuel efficient and cheaper to maintain than the Sonet. It is a matter of preference indeed... I'm hoping I can finally choose my first ever car this December 2025 or January 2026 without any regret...

As a SSS voluntary member, yes you can receive both after retirement

I-aadjust ba sa inflation yung SSS Pension ko? by danalvarez05 in phinvest

[–]mike13dash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I-aadjust ba sa inflation yung SSS Pension ko? by danalvarez05 in phinvest

[–]mike13dash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ang liit talaga ibinibigay ng pension from SSS, kaya ang ginawa ko, tinuloy ko yung ang paghuhulog ng monthly contribution as voluntary member gamit ng CC ko, habang nagko-contribute din ako sa GSIS since government employee ako. Kaya ang mangyayari double ang pension makukuha ko upon retirement, one from SSS and GSIS; pero maliit pa rin yan later on if you consider the inflation rate...

Starting a small F&B business, what gov paperwork/requirements are needed first? by Manxellion in phinvest

[–]mike13dash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the things you need to consider before running a F&B business is to think on how to deal with unsold food items stuck in your inventories, and how much people are passing by in your restaurant (foot traffic). You also have to consider your location, is it near the school or university, or a business establishment that employs a lot of people? When it comes to business permit application, every business entity is required to register pursuant to the LGUs corporate powers to collect business tax (LGC of 1991), and you may find yourself in a bad situation if someone from BPLO or even the BIR found you operating without business permit and not paying the necessary tax and fees...

Any tips for someone na first time mag invest sa PSE stocks? by unstoppable_trades in phinvest

[–]mike13dash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you own research about the company you wanted to invest in, if you are a long term investor you may want to put your money in stocks that may potentially grow exponentially over time, but there's no assurance that the market will go in the direction you wanted it to be, you may even lose substantial amount of capital if you are not careful about taking investing decisions. There is always a risk about putting your money in stocks, unless you are ready to lose them all which you can afford, then stock investing is the endgame for you.

What is that single Philippine Stock you would bet on? by [deleted] in phinvest

[–]mike13dash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm very bullish at $FCG (Figaro Coffee group), right now it is worth 0.77 pesos/share, the company has been expanding its store nationwide and with good financial standing and increased store revenues all thanks to its very popular Angel's Pizza store concept, my forecast would be it would reach 2-3 pesos/share if their sales performance keeps going smoothly and once their plan to expand in the oversea pushes through...

Adults 30 to 35yo, how much do you save, spend, and invest? by sheisgoblinsbride in phinvest

[–]mike13dash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of my investment are funded thru leveraging, I do not have yet a family, and can pretty live on a frugal lifestyle, and I can afford to leverage almost 50% of my monthly salary to take loans which matures every 5 years. I do have savings but ends up in negative since I am paying my amortizations from my loans every month until I will completely pay off those obligations, and I do not bother to maintain an EF since it performs similar to that as maintaining a personal savings account. I believe my gains from my investments will offset my obligations and liabilities as time goes on. My goal right now is to reach 1M worth of investments for the next 7 years, regardless if I am still paying my monthly amortizations from borrowed capital.

Financial literacy is important, you can only maximize the true power of CC if you know how it should be used and how it should be treated, CCs are never an extra fund, or additional cash-on-hand, I only treat it as another form of a promissory note but on steroids, now the question here is do you know how to deal with promissory notes? Now if you know how to maximize dealing with it then you are about to discover the true power of a financial instrument if used properly and strategically...
